“It generally feels better to run toward something than to run away from something. Focus on what is pulling you in, not what you're trying to avoid.”

James Clear

Motivation is powerful. Personally, it is both a curse and a blessing for me.

I get demotivated very easily and suddenly, which could be terrible for my productivity and life in general. Fortunately, I'm just as easy to motivate. It doesn't take much to get me all fired up again.

A good short video or even some nice motivational words usually get the job done and I'm back up and running. That's actually one of the reasons why I do this post (mostly) every morning.

Motivation, to me, is having something I want to accomplish. It could be a bigger long-term goal or a quick win I want to get in the next day or hours. It doesn't matter. As long as I have something to look forward to, I'm good.

The problem is when I'm lack that, all the things I'm trying to avoid for whatever reason come to play and, as I mentioned before, they are enough to ruin my motivation and, therefore my day.

I don't pray but I believe reading or watching something inspiring is the closest thing I have to a prayer.
