Lolz…
So today, I decided to do a movie review pertaining to a contest in the Movies & TV Shows community. Well I guess this is the definition of doing something you love and earning from it also. Well I love watching movies and now, I get to do that and also tell you all about it and maybe earn and win the competition.
Since last month (November), I started watching my Christmas movies for the year and trust me, I have seen a lot but the most recent and most enjoyed ones are
A Boy Called Christmas
A Christmas Chronicle
Princess Switch etc.
Since the contest allows numerous entries, I might actually make more than one entry hoping I have time. But for my first entry, I will be talking about a movie that was acted my some of my favorite artists Mercy Johnson 🥰🥰🥰
This particular movie is a Nollywood movie but trust me, you guys will love it. It was done in one of the top notch places in Nigeria and also brought down to the down to Earth place. Doing so, I figured that they were trying to tell us that Christmas isn’t just about gifting the rich with things they already have but reaching out to the poor or rather meeting up with others' need. After all, Christmas is mostly about putting smiles on people’s faces.
So with all those said, the title of the movie is My Naija’s Christmas. As I said earlier, it casts top actors some includes;

• Ade Laoye
• Wasiu Alabi
  In the review, I will so much try not to derail some much from the plot and I will keep it as short as possible. The movie is both romance and comedy so enough of awwwwnnn and laughter will be expected.

Let’s meet our casts.

The movie is mainly circled around a family in particular. A mother and her 3 sons.
Madam Agatha, Ugo, Obi, and Chike.

Madam Agatha:-

A single mother of 3 grown boys and the president of a women's group in the church.

Ugo:-

An artist and producer. He has his own studio for music and actually very good in his field. In the movie, he is the typical playboy and one the things he uses to attract the girls is his studio and his expensive equipment.

Obi

As the first born is a playboy, I guess the producers dimmed it fit to make the second a lover boy. This character was so in love that even after he was humiliated he went back to apologies. There is this joke that to avoid rejection, you should propose in the middle of the sea. Lolz that reasoning. I seriously don't blame this character because love is blind though and the girl is hoooooot.

Chike

This character is a gym instructed. He found his love in the gym called Sammy. Sammy and Chike started seeing each other but had to keep their relationship a secret just to avoid commotion of some sort.

Some of my exciting scenes.

In general, the movie is top notch spiced with comedy and trust me, I love my stuffs spicy.
The movie starts up with a lady in the studio trying to record her demo of a Christmas song. Due to the fact that she didn't go through the normal process, she had to hide when the owner of the studio came in with one his babes.

Noticing or thinking he was alone, he started trying everything possible to set the mood.

His normal technique was to increase the Ac, brag about the expensive equipment and play a soft smooth jam and I guess that worked every single time. When the mood was getting exciting, it suddenly changed when two of his girls came in being all lousy and stuffs.

For his own safety, he ran into the recording booth where he stumbled upon the back door girl and began an agreement of who she is and how she got there

but was cut shut when the ladies at the other side started vandalizing some of the equipment.
The top of it was when one of the ladies poured wine into the mixer. Even I was like ahhhhhh. The expensive mixer. The security then came in to escort them out but I guess he was too late.

On getting out, he was another surprise where the ladies remolded his car by deflating his tire and with what was like an attempt to write IDIOT wrote I-DO-IT leaving him in shock like how did I get here.

In the meantime, he (Ugo) was supposed to be with his brothers when the lover boy (Obi) wanted to propose to his girlfriend and the props were with him.

The Proposal

The proposal arrangement was amazing. Dance, music and costumes (king and queen) as I said love 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. Well while the proposal was going on, their mother "The president of the women in church" was being mocked for being a grand mother having three grown sons stating that they are not even married.

In an attempt to free them and make them shut up, she stated that her second son Obi is currently proposing marriage to his girlfriend and eventually they will give her grandchildren. As a result of spite, she went online and saw that the proposal went sideways when the lady rejects him. How she was able to see the video? leave it to Nigerians to trend something like this with different hashtags. on seeing the rejection video, she faints.

Don't mind the length but before I go talking about some scenes in the movie, I guess we should all know the bases.

After rushing the mother to the hospital, the 3 sons shows up with worries in their eyes and goes to see the mother. The drama began when she manipulates them with her health and asks why they haven't brought a woman to her yet.

With fake tears in her eyes, they start making promises and saying somethings that wasn't true at that time and when she asked when she's going to see the proposed ladies, Chike blotted out Christmas. On hearing this, the mother became whole again asking to be discharged from the hospital.

Getting home, while they were having a family dinner in the family house sitting in a 2plots of land in Lekki Vitoria Island Lagos.

Bringing back old memories she made a vow to gift the house to whoever brings home a lady to her first. With shock from Ugo saying it isn't right that as the first child and first son, he is entitled to the property automatically but I guess in this case, it's not so.

So the battle line was drawn between Ugo and Obi after Chike pulled out from the race.

Plots were created, feelings were hurt, relationships were broken, created and mended, slaps were given, tears were shed, eyes were opened, hearts were broken, kisses were shared. All this in this family drama.

Anyways famz. This is one of my Christmas movies hope you watch it to find out more on what happened and who eventually got the house. Houses in lekki aren't cheap though so you can imagine what's at stake here.
