Happy My Birthday

It's another Decemer 11 and as usaual, it's a special day because I was born. Well you can say I disturbed the heavens so much that they had to send me down to disturb others also. Yeah HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me.

Even though the day went by like every other day, I am just grateful to be alive. I spent the early hours of the new year in church as we had an overnight choir rehearsal in preparation for the christmas carol. After so, I got a phone call from a very close friend of mine. We spent minutes on call then she made me promise to have a little bit of fun (that was one promise that I surely didn't keep).

Since I'm more of an indoor type of person, and I didn't have anyone to drag out of my comfort zone, I spent my day sleeping and the sleep was dammmmmn sweet. I had two rounnds of sleep, the first ended around 1pm after I woke up due to hunger and the second started immediately after I ate and ended by 5pm. After which I decided to go online.

Most of the birthday happened online, I said so due to the fact that I got little to no birthday wishes offline only from my mum since I didn't really go outside but online, I got my messages packed up from voice notes of birthday songs to messages of prayers. All in their own way of showing that they really care. Too bad that the one I wanted and thought really cared actually forgot.

Even though of my mumu friends as usual used used style to yab me even on my bdae.

From the time I woke up from the 2nd batch till I decided to go offline, I spent it replying messages I guess my keypad even got adapted to it as when I typed the first word, it brought out suggestions. The day was unique in a type of way and I'm just happy to have lived it.

The birthday food is today though and I hope I get surprised with a birthday cake. The height of it was my birthday gift. I remember telling a friend of mine that I needed to get one shoe as soon as I get to Lagos and to my surprise, she actuall

y got me this said shoe and also got it delivered. I can say that's the first gift I have ever received from an outsider.
