Hello; it's me again with yet another dose of insight. lol just joking what do I know?
So some days back, I stumbled upon a post by @abundance.tribe and in the post, he challenged us to think real deep and write a post on
What is your ideal version of “success”.
What does it look like and
How can you get there?"
Although it's coming in late here is what I think.

Since then, I have taken a long thought and got to reflect on this and I just had to ask myself this question.

"Why do I do What I do?"

This question goes in line with the question that was asked and since I know why I do what I do, I just had to map out my plans.

The first question.

What is your ideal version of “success”.

Before we go real deep, let's find out what SUCCESS is.
To some, it might be me finishing a task no matter what it takes.
To others, it might be just trying their best to accomplish a set task.

But to me, success is accomplishing a task with the desired results and being happy in the long run without regrets.
According to Goggle...
the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

the good or bad outcome of an undertaking.

My ideal version of success as I stated is mostly about being happy at the end having no regrets, no debts, no heartbreak. This applies in all aspects of my life physically, emotionally, financially, career-wise. In all these, plans have been set, and if at the end of the plans I don't end up being happy. Then I guess I haven't been successful because what is success without happiness?

What does it look like?

Hmmmmm what does success look like?
Success looks like an achieved dream. Let me explain it this way.
Ever looked at something and after a long stare at it, you just smile. That's kind of what success feels like. I have watched several movies where the man will just sit and look at his wife and just smile. To him, he was successful in selecting a wife even though there will be challenges sometimes but the happiness will be more.

How Can I get there?

Getting to my promised land is never going to be easy. That I know. It will take so many trials and errors wtf I haven't done it before and I am not a wizard to know the right path. It's just like driving to a place where you haven't been before. You stop and ask around. You might miss a turn and after asking around you will have to reverse and take that turn you missed. Because you missed a turn and have gone far in the drive doesn't mean you should turn off the engine and say you are not moving again.
That's how getting success is, you miss a turn you try again over and over and over and over and over again until you finally get it right.

Looking at Thomas Edison who failed 10000 times and didn't give up.

Sir James Dyson, who it took 5,126 vacuum design attempts before he could get a properly working vacuum?
Walt Disney didn't see it until he was pushed to. Having been fired for lack of imagination went out to create the biggest imaginative studio.
There are still so many like
Henry Ford.
Robert Goddard.
Alexander Graham Bell.
Albert Einstein.
William and Orville Wright.
who could have given up because they failed but didn't because they have already pictured the success in their head.

This is what I think of that keeps me pushing and hope it works for you too. Find your passion, set your plans, build it, and lastly, don't forget to ask for help because experience is the best teacher and some have already gotten that experience you can always avoid the mistakes they did.
In conclusion,

See your goal
Understand the obstacles.
Create a positive mental picture.
Clear your mind of self doubt.
Embrace the challenges.
Stay on track.
Show the world you can do it
