Yeah these secondary chains have huge controlling and centralization issues. Not to mention downtime, still high fees and bottlenecks they are far from the second layer 2 solutions we were hoping for.

No idea, apparently this shit decision was reverted today..
After the last fall οf BTC, it is the first time that I bought some of it! Maybe I will repeat it if it ll fall below 18K. Solana stinks by far that is a scam! For me i so high price in so short time, with so centralized distribution and every three months on shut down! Surely no!
Simply wow! I'm glad I never tried out Solana. Blockchain halts (or whatever they had), now taking control of whale's funds (and I assume they weren't "ninja mined" and having a special purpose within the community). Not looking good...

Crypto is no longer about what it was designed for. We don't even have yet a world wide crypto payment system. That doesn't mean everything is lost, but we might have focused on the wrong stuff.

From what I read it seems that about $1M of funds voted to take over 100M of funds... To be fair I think they posted a proposal today that would reverse this whole ordeal.
Not surprised though. Solana was always a meme anyway.
