How Much BAT do you earn from Brave Browser?

And what do you do with them?

In my last post about BAT I was not surprised to read that people from Nigeria earn jack shit for using the browser. After all, Nigeria is a developing country so it makes sense that advertisers don't want to spend any ad revenue there as their conversion would be super low. However, I was surprised to see that a user from the UK also earns 0 bat !

As for me, I earn on average about 2-3 BATs per month on my mobile device and about the same on my desktop. For example, on December I got 2 bat on my mobile phone:

Please note that I am from Greece which as is now, it's probably close to being a developing country too, so I won't complain. Furthermore, that's a totally passive earning from something I would anyways do, browsing the internet! Plus, I like Browser and the only place I don't use it is my daily cuck job because it's incompatible with Hootsuite. I would still use Brave, even if I got zero rewards! Especially on my android, where you need to root your device if you want to block ads on the browser!

As for the rewards, up to now I used to tip them here and there (e.g. leofinance) although lately I decided to hodl them and maybe cash them out for a gift card in the future or whatever!

So.. How Much BAT do you earn from using Brave Browser? And what do you do with the rewards?

So I earn about 10 a month on my laptop and ideally I would tip myself on twitter, send to coinbase and convert to btc. I'm waiting until I get about $100 worth. I'm close.

I always thought that might be a decent marketing target for @leofinance. I don't really read the ads there but once they've popped up enough in your face you know what they are lol

Ha, was going to say I never read the ads either, but then I could tell you half a dozen sites promoting their stuff there from the top of my head.

it's really neat how that stuff works. People talk about ad blindness all the time but those messages have a way of sneaking into our brains.

I simply get BAT for peanuts and I'm from Romania. On mobile I seem to get more ads, but on desktop I think I didn't see any for several days. I think that the system is faulty at times as the Reddit BAT channel is full with complaints of not showing the ads. I know that it depends by country, but at some point I was making more than 5 BAT per month and it suddenly stopped.

I earn about 10 BAT per month with my desktop PC. I'm German, so it seems there's a lot more ad money spent on us. I'd love to use it on my mobile as well but it's a corporate phone and turns out I'm not allowed to use it there because the guys deciding that stuff don't know jack...
Anyway, I've been hodling it together with the BAT I make on Publish0x. Right now that amounts to a total of 285 BAT.

Around 9-10 here in Merkeland. I still gather those and maybe will buy something in the future of it, when the price will moon. At 5$ I'm thinking of a new laptop. :)

Perhaps greece favour more earning of the Crypto than Nigeria

I dont earn a lot. But I properly do get 10 ads a day or so, if I spent the day infront fo my computer.

If you reset you computer, make sure to turn off and reconfigure Brave-auto thingy.

I lost 24 bats this month because of that, it auto sent without me knowning x(

Being is the US, it was nice in the beginning. $5+ a month combined with the uphold card. Buying a Pizza with BAT was very cool. But last few months, very little ads, very little BAT like 2-5 BAT/month
Not sure what is going on at Brave.
Anyway, still my preferred browser.

On my laptop I earn about 1-2 like you. My phone seems to go around 5 bat. I've heard there are ways to basically reboot Brave so that you get ads again, but I don't recall the trick.

I'm in Portugal and I think I've made 10 to 20 BAT in about 2 years of using Brave browser ( about a third of these two years was spent in The Netherlands ). They have probably shown me two ads so far haha!

I still like the browser enough though to keep using it and also bought a bunch of BAT.

I get around 3-4 BAT per month, mostly on my iPad because it where I get more ads. I get fewer ads on windows desktop but I don't know why.

What I'm doing with it, well first wait to have 25 BAT so I am able to withdraw, and then, send the tokens to my hard wallet and swap for ETH.

I think it matters how much you are actively using the platform as well? The last few months have been earning me a decent amount. 30.050 BAT last month

yep not to bad! I do have my websites and socials linked up to allow for bat Tips though as well. I'm thinking some comes from that but not really sure how to tell.

It stopped working for me around 3 months ago. I had to remove Brave, completely strip the cache + cookies + everything, then reinstall... the it started working again. Now, it's quite generous to me.

I wish I could give you the specifics of why it stopped working, I installed Brave on my laptop.. at that time.. all working again... and lots of ads. It's a funny old beast and all the suggestions on the internet .. none of em worked.

I have this but to withdraw from UpHold you need more BAT. But I don't pay attention to receive bats. I lose some ads xD

I've been stacking these BAT and got more than 200 BAT just from tips and adds! No plans on selling those BAT anytime soon!

I have an idea to increase the BAT earnings. Let's use all a VPN with an USA or Canada IP-Address. This are the countries with the highest target and with the most ads.

Reminds me of a good futuristic movie with targeted advertising:

I use to earn a lot and now it’s down to 3-6. I remember earning 20-30 a while ago. I think I have around 170 tokens on mobile. I think I have another 40 on e desktop.

Did you check the settings in your browser? I remember i once earned bat and wondered why is was gone later and not added to my wallet. 🙈 Figured out it was because i had the "auto tip" (i think thats how its called) activated.

*I just saw the post you made where you also asked and your screenshot. "Autotip" is it called. Turn this off and than see if it works.

I don't really use the BAT, I just leave it in there. I'm not sure how much I made, but I've got over 130 BAT sitting in a wallet.

I was confused by the fact that before installing the browser, a message from my antivirus appeared about a threat, causing damage to my computer, until I started to risk it. I thought about trying to install it on a smartphone, but, as usual, other things were found, I will have to try) I already forgot when I last held a smartphone in my hands)

I have 150 bat in wallet, never paid anything out :). As long I get it for using the browser is a good deal. At someday I will transfer it :D

In the beginning of using Brave (like an year and a half before) I earned around 30 BAT/ month on my laptop. Things changes recently and for several month haven't been earning anything. I'm in Bulgaria, and when I was browsing in Greece for a couple of month it was much better.
Just after they informed us, that referrals are going to be deactivated, my Brave browser started generating 0.01 BAT regularly (every hour or so, using the browser). Ads are now showing up anymore, except on my tablet...but I don't use mobile device regularly (no SIM card).
