Back with the fourth and last coin treasure that was gifted to me by my amazing #silvergoldstackers secret Santa.

What a nice pussy 😍😻

Like the mackerel coin I featured two days ago, this 25 cents piece is a commerorative coin for the 100th Anniversary of Canada. As for the text, just the bare minimum, "25 cents Canada 1867 - 1967". Simple, like I like it!

In case you wonder, the cat featured is the Canadian Lynx canadensi:

The Canada lynx (Lynx canadensis), or Canadian lynx, is a medium-sized North American lynx that ranges across Alaska, Canada, and northern areas of the contiguous United States. It is characterized by its long, dense fur, triangular ears with black tufts at the tips, and broad, snowshoe-like paws. Its hindlimbs are longer than the forelimbs, so its back slopes downward to the front. The Canada lynx stands 48–56 cm (19–22 in) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 5 and 17 kg (11 and 37 lb). The last of the government putting real money in there coins 🪙 (I assume 67 was one of the last years since here it was 64 for .25cent pieces) man it’s crazy how many people don’t even realize we had all silver coins forever until the 1960’s for .10 cents up. It’s really insane how fast they made the sheep forget or never know! I’m definitely doing the secret Santa 🎅🏿 next year! Such a rad idea and community #SilverGoldStackers #KeepOnStacking

Nice coin. Why do I keep thinking of it as a panther but it's a lynx. I don't know if I trust carrying one in my arms like that lady though.

When I'm at my coin shop I try to pick out the 1967 silver.
This 1967 25 Cents is my next favorite after the 1967 50 Cent Howling wolf reverse. Should I draw you next Christmas I'll see if Santa can help you make the complete 1967 set. 😘
