An Epic #WednesdayWalk to da Beach that Made Me Smile! - Seaview to Kehena - Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - May 25, 2022
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
Today, before doing some rather intense work in the garden, I decided to go to our favorite beach, our beloved Kehena (clothing-optional since 1955), for a while. I've shared photos of Kehena before, and bits of the walk there, but in this post I wanted to give you all a far more fleshed out experience of the entire journey that I take from Seaview to Kehena, with lots (yes, I know, too many) of photos.
These shots give you a very good lay of the land, so to speak, of the roads I take through Seaview (with photos of many side streets, too), down through The Lawn (Seaview Park), the road (The Red Road/Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Road/Route 137), down the trail to the beach, and some shots of Kehena too. I also took shots of various interesting and beautiful views. With so much beauty all around me, how could I not smile at living in this amazing place?!? 🙏 💚

the roads on your drive to the beach are beautiful so unlike the roads here with built up houses and shops everywhere I drive for the most part, and what a beautiful beach so relaxing just whats needed before getting to work
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Yes, Lower Puna, is indeed a very beautiful place, and I'm truly so grateful to live here. Having the beach so close is so wonderful! We can go for a short bit, then get on with our day easily.
