March 20, 2023 is a very special day for all of us here in our beloved Hive Blockchain Ecosystem! Three years ago today (I'm in Hawai'i, so technically tomorrow for me) The Hive Blockchain was born, forked from the Steem Blockchain!

To celebrate this important day, @theycallmedan and @blocktrades have teamed up to host a very special #HivePowerBday Power-Up-Day contest. They are each sponsoring 50,000 HP delegations, for a total of 100,000 HP to be delegated for one month as prizes! You may read about the details of the contest here:

I heard about this amazing power-up contest yesterday, and while I wanted to participate, I didn't have an easy way to get ahold of 10 HIVE in time. John Novak, @beststart, made a post, Happy Birthday Hive!, about the contest where I mentioned that I'd mostly be cheering people on from the sidelines, as I didn't have 10 liquid HIVE to take part in it. Much to my utter and complete astonishment and overflowing gratitude, John sent me 10 HIVE as a gift, so that I could participate in the contest, asking only that I pay his incredible kindness forward, to assist someone else, as he helped me today.

So this post is my participation and entry in this very special Power-Up-Day Contest! John, thank you again so incredibly much! I can barely express to you how grateful I am to you!

Here are some screenshots of my power-up process.

As of today, I've been on Hive for 1 year, 5 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days, so almost a year and a half, or half of the time that Hive has existed! That's pretty amazing to me, and I'm unspeakably thankful to have found it when I did! I deeply love and believe in Hive, as I recognized its mind-blowing potentential to help so many, as soon I arrived here, and the longer I'm here, and the deeper I go, the more passionate, committed, dedicated, and all in for the long haul I am!

My long-term goal here is to become a Hive millionaire whale, to be able to live off of what I do here, and to be able to help as many people around me as possible to rise as well. Hive provides us all with a truly unique and brilliant opportunity to better ourselves while we help others do the same.

We truly are all in this together, and we rise by lifting others. Nobody on Hive (or on earth) can succeed alone. We need each other, and for that I'm very grateful! So onwards and upward, my friends, joyfully together! Happy birthday Hive! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
