The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.

Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚

Well, this the second day in a row that I didn't get any work done on the land. It was a lovely day, just somewhat atypical. I found a baby wild pig in the morning, and then Miria and Iolanthe found another three later in the day, for a total of four baby wild pigs. They are all still very young and small, and each one is of different colors and patterns. Io and Miria are now taking care of the four little wild piglets, which seem quite happy. Maybe I'll take photos tomorrow to post.

Aside from finding the first wild piglet, my morning up at the Flow House was per my usual. It was a beautidul sunny morning up on the lava, and my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: The Powerful Kindness Key post flowed pretty quickly and easily, which was nice. I usually stay up at the Flow House until I finish my superfood fire coffee, and until I come to a good stopping point on Hive, so I usually stay up there doing my thing until around 12PM, give or take.

This morning, while I was still up at the Flow House, I also signed up for Noise.app, with motivation that I got from this post by @beststart. In it he talks about having the BCH (Bitcoin Cash) that he makes there sent to BlockTrades, which then sends it to his Hive wallet as liquid HIVE several time per day. I created an account on BlockTrades, but stopped when I was asked for KYC info. I not only don't like submitting KYC information, but at the moment I don't have any identification documents that would work anyway. My passport is expired, and my driver's license, which is from Arizona, and is valid for thirty years (I got it in 2006, and it doesn't expire until 2037), is far too beat up to be useful any longer for online identification purposes. Because of this I assumed that, for now at least, using Noise.app the way @beststart does was a no go. I leaned later that there was another, far simpler way to do it, which I'll explain a bit later below.

The first thing that I did once I came down from the lava, was to go collect more Hawaiian hot peppers from the one surviving Hawaiian hot pepper plant on the property (I planted a good amount of seeds, which are sprouting now), for the fire part of my superfood fire coffee each morning. These Hawaiian hots, as they're called locally, are a very well adapted, vigorous, and long-lived local variety of hot peppers that I adore.

I still wasn't sure for a fair bit of the early part of the day if I was going to go to Seaview today to dig up my plants and get my stuff. In the end, however, I did not go today, so that means I'm going tomorrow, if all goes well.

The bamboo shadecloth props continued to keep falling down in my nursery, sometimes damaging plants, so I decided to see about fixing that situation. I connected both of them to each end of a long Melochia trunk with screws. They seem far more stable now, but we'll see how they do in wind.

Ano had asked me to do some body work on him after he went cocoing (he free climbs coconut palms), so I did that instead of going to Seaview. I worked on him for about an hour, and he felt a good bit better afterwards.

After working on Ano, I went back to the Flow House to catch Up on Hive for a bit. As I was doing this, I read a comment by @manclar on the post by @beststart posted above, where he described a very simple way to use the Hive-Engine SWAP.BCH deposit address in Noise.app so that all BCH made there is automatically sent to a Hive wallet as SWAP.BCH, which can then be sold or swapped for something else. Doing it this way completely takes out the regulated middleman BlockTrades! Utterly brilliant! This can also be done for any external cryptocurrency that has a SWAP pair in Hive-Engine. I've already followed several people on Noise.app that I know here on Hive, and I plan to begin posting there very soon. Since Noise.app is by invitation only, if you'd like to create an account there, just leave a comment saying so and I'll post an invitation link.

The only other thing that I got done today on the land or with plants, was to go collect the various stems from the red cassava that I harvested on Thanksgiving, to cut them into smaller, easier to manage sections, and put them in water to rehydrate them a bit before I plant them. I intend to plant a lot more of this plant here at GaiaYoga, as it grows and develops fast, and it's productive with the right conditions.

Polish_20220714_121754649.jpg

After doing the cassava, I made some eggs mixed with veggies, chicken sausage, and cheese, in the Landing, that I took up to the Flow House to eat, as I did my usual Hive catch up, and started this post. So yeah, while I didn't really get anything done on the land, other than securing my shadecloth props and cutting and putting the red cassava in water, I did make an amazing and super useful discovery about Noise.app and Hive-Engine that I will be able to use to great benefit. That's absolutely wonderful!

And on that note, I think I'll end this post for now. I'd like to get to bed early again, as I did actually sleep pretty well last night, and I want to continue the trend. Have an amazing day/night my friends! G'Night for now! 😁 🙏 💚 ⚡💥🔥✴️❇️✳️👣🌱✨🤙

Thanks for the mention, @tydynrain

The comment from @manclar is a very cool method that I had not known about before.

Have a great day.
