I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! | #IAmAliveChallenge Hive Daily Journal Entry: Day #137 - Miria's Birthday, Icelandic Horses, and Yes, Hive! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, December 11, 2022

The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.

Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚

Today Sunday the 11th was not only a really beautiful day in terms of weather, but it was also one filled with lovely experiences, especially for Miria, as today is her 10th birthday! Miria lives with her mother Britanny, and her little brother, Nerian, at GaiaYoga Gardens, my off-grid jungle intentional community where I've lived for about four years now. Miria has been super excited about her birthday since yesterday, and I wanted to make sure I had a good bit of time to devote to her on this special day. Fiona and I had planned for me to give her a session today, but that was before we realized that it was Miria's Birthday. We rescheduled for Tuesday.

Because it was Miria's birthday, I made sure to get all my important Hive tasks done earlier, so as to free up more time. I still enjoyed my morning up at the Flow House with my superfood fire coffee, and doing my Hive thing, though I made sure to be as efficient as I could with my Hive tasks, so I didn't lose track of time. My one main morning Hive goal was to write and publish my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Simple Courageous Decisions post, which I was able to do with time to spare.

The first thing I did when I came down from the Flow House was to attempt to fix a leaky PVC pipe joint. GaiaYoga's jungle plumbing was a bit more complex and confusing than I expected, so I held off on doing anything with it until Ano got home from the market (he sets up a booth). Pretty much as soon as I was done with the piping for the moment, I got a call from Fiona letting me know that they were going to be bringing out Miria's cake (something like a cheesecake sampler) shortly.

Miria had a small party down at Tutu's, with her mixed New York cheesecake, a piñata, homemade sushi, and some ice cream. Curious combo I know...😂! Miria is seemingly quite good at manifesting what she wants, because she had wanted to ride a horse on her birthday (all-time favorite little girl wish I know!), and it just so happened that Don and Sally, two of our local jungle neighbors, had set today to move their five Iclandic horses from their property a little over a mile away down our jungle roads, to GaiaYoga's property, to put them in our fenced pasture for a few weeks.

Don stopped by in the late afternoon to coordinate and enlist help in walking the horses up our very jungly Noni Farms/Pu'u'ā Road, to GaiaYoga. Miria, Iolanthe, Fiona, along with Sally, and Don and Sally's son Zeke, and I spent a lovely time walking the whole length of our jungle road with these very sweet, gentle mellow horses. After I returned from driving the car back from the bottom of the road, I caught up on Hive, then I went to repair the leaky pipe again, this time with Ano. He had to teach a class in the Immersion, so he couldn't stay long. There were a few complications, but I finally successfully repaired it.

I made another cheese burger in the Landing, which I took up to the Flow House, to enjoy as I caught up on Hive, and then wrote and published the above post about the Icelandic horses. Once I had that published, I went back to the Landing to blend up another of my glorious kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao drinks, then returned to the Flow House again to sip it as I began on this post.

Miria had a blast on her birthday, which makes me feel good, and we got to have an enjoyable walk up our jungle road with some super sweet Icelandic horses. Pretty cool indeed!

I think it's time to wrap this post up so that I can complete my last Hive task for the night, then get my cute little tush to bed! Until tomorrow my Hive friends! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
