I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

One of the innumerable things that I've very much come to appreciate about Hive is that each and every day here is another opportunity to try again, and to succeed!
No matter if we missed a deadline, failed to reach a goal, or our post didn't get the votes that we hoped, every single day here allows us to learn, grow, refine, and begin again! Hive overflows with opportunities!
One of the most essential things we can do to take advantage of the opportunities before us on Hive is to not take anything personally when things don't go well, and just keep going! Learn, adjust, and refine, yes, stop, no!
Hive is also the ideal framework to experiment, explore, tinker, and refine what we do here, and how we do it. Because of this Hive actually nurtures self-growth, as people are encouraged to go outside of their comfort zones, and expand beyond the parameters that they knew previously. On Hive we grow our wallets and ourselves! That's pretty nifty if you ask me!
The weather today was quite variable, alternating between sun and clouds and rain. I kept my focus on my Hive catch-up until I finally finished around 3pm, which is when I left the Flow House to go do some land work.
I felt a good deal of accomplishment in completing the two tasks that I had set for myself today. The first one was planting the rest of the Coleus that were sitting in my nursery, in the new planting areas on either side of the throughway between Tutu's and Kana's place. The second was planting my Mysore blackberry plant in the ground near the Flow House. Getting my plants in the ground is very fulfilling to me.
With those two tasks done, I took a shower, strained out more kefir, made myself some food in the Landing, and then returned to the Flow House to write and publish My 51st Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: Both Goals Smashed, and 2,000 HP This Week! post, and then begin writing this one.
It's now almost 1:30AM, so I'm going to sign off now to go to sleep! I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Grats on reaching your goals, both on Hive and with the plants! Blackberries... admit that you posted that only to make me jealous! 💜
For me, setting a goal or task for tomorrow, or for the next week, is so much more manageable - and less daunting - than for example "I'll write a post a day forever and ever" or "I'll be financially independent by this or that year/age." It feels like it's easier to pull my socks up and try again if I miss a smaller, short-term goal, than when I fail at something that's supposed to be worked on all the time!

I find that I can work with limited, shorter-term goals far more easily than the grand ones that are are too big to chew well. Big goals need to be broken down into clear, doable steps. On posting every day, I just made it a habit, so it does itself now...😂! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Yes! Breaking things down into manageable chunks is the way to go! I mean, who'd ever get anything done if they got slapped in the face with KillthealarmGetoutofbedBrushteethShowerMakebreakfastFindsomethingcleantowearEatbreakfastWashupTakeoutthetrashWorkWorkWorkWork even before thinking about lunch? Not me at least! That just makes me fluff the pillows up and pull the blanket over my head, so I can stay happy and comfortable 😹

Be careful when working with blackberries, the spines are very small, but it is very easy to get blood poisoning if you get hurt near the nail.

Lots of people fish here. It's definitely a rather notable thing with the locals. Several people sell what they catch at markets, others share with friends. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
A blessed place, since people can get free food close to their homes. Are there any restrictions on fishing? I mean, like on many islands on the opposite side of the mainland in the Caribbean, where the locals do not have the right to get lobsters and other seafood for themselves. :)

Yes, the Vrancea zone in the period from 1976 to 1990 shook very strongly with interruptions of 10 - 5 years, after that there was a time when I woke up due to thunder, as a rule, they occurred during thunderstorms and bad weather :)

Hehe...yes, I had aquariums of all sizes all over my room as a child, with all sorts of critters. This area of Hawai'i is so new that it's only porous lava below us, so water runs straight through and does not accumulate. Because of this in this part of the Island we have no rivers, streams, lakes, or ponds. Those start appearing around Hilo to the northwest. There are many critters in the fresh water where it does collect, however. Many water birds, insects, fish, crustaceans, turtles, many water plants, and the like. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yes, it was hard to count, but what's funny is that their total volume was 8K liters, aquariums from 25 to 530 liters, about 130 species of fish and about 150 species of plants :)
