#Macrophotography - Ripe Thimbleberry - Seaview, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - May 21, 2022

Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚

These photos of a thimbleberry (Rubus rosifolius - a species of island-hopping raspberry common in Lower Puna, on the far east side of the Big Island of Hawai'i) are my first attempts at macrophotography. They were taken this morning, on a small thimbleberry plant that I planted in the garden of The Sanctuary of The Blue Dragon several weeks ago. It's already producing fruit, though the birds get most of them! I'm amazed at the detail that I was able to capture!

They are as delicious as they look!
