My Entry for Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 220 - Sun and Shadow Through Torn Tarp - Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - May 19, 2022
Warm greetings all! š š
A new round of Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow Contest has bubbled up into being, and this week we move into Round 220!
Last Sunday, May 15th, after ecstatic dance in The Blue Room at Kalani, I was laying on the floor in the corner of the huge room, waiting for my partner, @kai-sunrise, to return. As I lay there, looking up, I noticed a torn section of tarp (the whole structure is covered by a tarp - a very common way of doing things here in Lower Puna) up in the corner, at the apex of the structure. It wasn't necessarily beautiful, but it was a stark contrast to the darkness of the intact areas of the tarp, and while the point of focus is the sunlight streaming through the broken section, due to the nature of light and dark, shadows are an integral part of the whole.

Thank you all so much for allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am deeply grateful! š š
