Manchester City Didn't Take It Easy With Real Madrid

I almost cried yesterday as a Real Madrid club support, what Man City did yesterday was really insane, like seriously and they finally prove themselves to the best club so far. Before the match, Manchester City have really prove themselves worthy while defeating most of the club that came their way, I was always amazed with their team work, fast and really calculative and their coach Pep Guardiola have really give his best to the club, even though Arsenal have really their their best this season after a long while, they still couldn't keep the first position and finally lost it to Manchester City and since then, I have been looking forward to the club that will finally put City in their place especially that Haaland who have been one of their top striker so far.

We all have been anticipating the match between Real Madrid against Man city since we had hope that Madrid will be the only team that can at least stand against City this time around since they have been doing it way back at least having head to head challenge with each winning each other. I wont lie, the hope of Madrid avenging for other clubs while defeating City was really high and I'm one of those hoping it will happen. I had to watch their first leg match which they had last week I think, my mind was really up but it was really an incredible match, both team really played well and I really love the way they didn't give haaland a chance to score in the first leg, it was as if he was the main target and Rudiger really did well too.

But the second leg really had lot of fault from Madrid side, a big one which Manchester City discovered and decided to ride on it to have more advantage, Madrid didn't realised Haaland was the main distraction in this second leg, Most of the defender had their focus on him while neglecting other players like Brenardo Silva, the second goal was way too easy for him, he was really free while Madrid defender were lagging behind and they weren't able to hold the ball like they use too, even there were no much pass to vinicus and benzema even though those two have their fault too. The match stats in the first half really pissed me off because the margin was way too much and I had to quit watching the match after 2 goals down in first match and I know Madrid are in hot soup, only to finally find out the were beaten 4-0 down. Manchester City Finally prove the point

Hi, yeah very shambolic Madrid. As they say in football, "Madrid didn't turn up", and no it's not about the Haaland distraction.
City has always been about the collective, Haaland scoring much this season hasn't changed that either. Just watch City and see that it's not just about the brilliance of Haaland, no way, this team is a collective synergy of footballing genius.

In the first leg, Haaland didn't score but a certain player did. That player is even their most dangerous player.

City suffocated Madrid, that's what happened. It was each Madrid player to at least two City players when Madrid had the ball. But this is how City plays, that's part of why Stones is used in the midfield when City are in possession, they seek to cause overloads everywhere on the pitch. There was so much space for City to attack even before any goal was scored.

It is almost criminal that Ancelloti didn't prepare for this, when it's clear that's how City plays. Looking at his players being shaky in possession especially in that first half, was so shameful. You wonder if they trained at all for the match.

Well the deed has been done, City deserved winners, Madrid will go back and leak their wounds, but it was not a good day for football, from a neutral point of view. Madrid killed the match.

Cheers
