The strength of layer 2 on layer 1
I could be wrong in everything I'm going to say in this publication, but that's how it seems to me since my last year at HIVE.
In September 2020 I found out that HIVE existed and that it was a fork of the site next door. So I went back to publishing until @coyotelation told me about the LEO tribe and how the tribe system worked in HIVE.
I found it interesting and started my publications, I took the high price of LEO worth $1 and the low (?) worth $0.20, and in no time I decided to withdraw LEOs (only exchanging for some BLEO to buy CUBs).
After that came the POB with limited token issuance and a new middle class began to appear and accumulate a slightly more relevant voting power than the power in Hive.
And now VYB has arrived, with yet another new wave of people able to become a potential user for hive and its secondary layers.
Obviously many other tribes have appeared in the meantime, but I have mentioned the 4 where I am most active, and what reflection do I want to bring with this.
Because HIVE is the main layer, how interesting is it that we exchange a little bit of our layer 2 token for HivePower, and thus strengthen not only in the tribes but also in layer 1 the users of the tribe?
This 'middle class' coming from the tribes, would gain a certain relevance also in layer 1 and with that having a certain relevance for the whole community, and not just for the tribes.
With that mind in mind I'm thinking about starting to dilute my tribes tokens a little to increase my HivePower and thus balance all fronts.
Do you also have plans to increase your HivePower?
ProofofBrain.io renewed my interest in Hive… and now with the new VYBrainium.com front end with no downvotes I’m thinking that maybe there is a good future here. I have too much Hive power so I will going the other way. Buying more VYB and POB.
