Este fin de semana se jugó la tercera jornada del Torneo Liga de Desarrollo de la Asociación de Fútbol del Estado Sucre, en la que participan todos los equipos que hacen vida en el Estado, con sus categorías inferiores, desde la Sub 6 hasta la Sub 12.

Cabe destacar que estoy trabajando como Comisario de Campo (antes conocido como "mesa técnica") para la A.F.E.S, lo que significa que debo asistir a las canchas a supervisar y llevar el registro de los encuentros que se me asignen, para que todo transcurra como debe ser, en base al reglamento del torneo y del fútbol en general.

El día sábado 22 de Octubre asistí a la Cancha Sintética Pequeña del Complejo Polideportivo Félix "Lalito" Velasquez, en la ciudad de Cumaná, para supervisar los encuentros: Ramos Sucre FC vs Sporting FC, Fundacafú FC vs Champion SC y Segura FC vs Atlético Cumaná, todos en la categoría Sub 8.

A las 2 de la tarde dio inicio el primer encuentro, donde se veían las caras Ramos Sucre FC y Sporting FC.

El encuentro fue muy cerrado de principio a fin, con ambos equipos luchando cada pelota como si sus vidas dependieran de ello. Fue un partido de ida y vuelta, con ocasiones de peligro para ambos pero en el fútbol gana quien logre concretar dichas oportunidades, y en este caso la victoria se la llevó Ramos Sucre FC con un marcador de 2-0. Los goles los marcaron los niños Raidertshon Gutierrez y Adrián Isaías, con los números 23 y 13 respectivamente.

El segundo encuentro se llevó a cabo a las 3 de la tarde, donde se enfrentaban Fundacafú FC y Champion SC.

Este partido empezó parejo, pero luego del primer gol de Champion SC les subió muchísimo la moral y los niños demostraron un fútbol superior al de sus rivales, tanto así que culminaron el primer tiempo ganando 0-4. Los niños de Fundacafú intentaron durante el segundo tiempo, pero la caprichosa no quizo entrar en sus intentos por descontar, mientras que los niños de Champion lograron concretar un par de ocasiones más, culminando el encuentro con un marcador de 0-6. Las estrellas del encuentro fueron Ángel Mota, con el número 17 y Enyerbert Mata, con el número 23, quienes marcaron 3 goles cada uno.

El último encuentro de la tarde dio inicio a las 4, en el que se enfrentaban Segura FC y Atlético Cumaná, el que casi no se desarrolla porque el equipo de Segura FC no contaba con el número mínimo de jugadores para poder iniciar el juego.

Aprovecho para hacer un llamado a esos padres irresponsables que no cumplen con sus responsabilidades en las actividades de sus hijos. Si lo inscribió en algún deporte, y el niño es convocado para un juego o algún torneo, por favor, llévelo a que participe. Es muy importante para el desarrollo de los niños que mantengan su actividad física, y más si es en un deporte que les gusta.

Volviendo a lo que nos compete, como los partidos anteriores, este encuentro inició muy parejo (lo cual me sorprendió bastante tomando en cuenta que Segura FC contaba con dos jugadores menos en cancha) hasta el primer gol de Atlético Cumaná.

Allí se desató una tormenta futbolística en la cancha, en la que los niños de Atlético Cumaná obtuvieron la victoria un marcador final de 0-7 y donde el conteo de goles finalizó de la siguiente manera: Dos goles para Damián Muñoz con el número 34, dos goles para Manuel Bermúdez con el número 25, un gol para Oscar Rincón con el número 22 y un gol para Leonel Durán con el número 29. El otro tanto lo marcó Kendrick Hernández, el número 2 de Segura FC, en propia puerta en una jugada fortuita.

Cabe mencionar que el marcador no hubiese sido tan abultado si los representantes de los niños de Segura FC hubieran sido responsables y llevaran a los niños a jugar.

Ahora pasemos al día domingo 23 de Octubre, en el que asistí a la Cancha de Fútbol del Parcelamiento Miranda, en la ciudad de Cumaná, donde se llevarían a cabo los encuentros: San Lázaro FC vs Nueva Cadiz A, Segura FC vs Atlético Camino, en la categoría Sub 10, y el último encuentro entre Centro Ítalo FC y EFAO FC en la categoría Sub 11.

El primer encuentro, entre San Lázaro FC y Nueva Cádiz A pintaba a ser un partidazo porque son de los mejores equipos del torneo en la categoría Sub 10, por lo que habían muchas expectativas entre todos los presentes, incluyéndome.

El silbato del árbitro principal sonó a las 8 am, dando inicio al que prometía ser uno de los mejores encuentros de toda la jornada. Al principio ambos equipos medían sus fuerzas y creaban ocasiones sin mucho peligro, como tanteando al rival, pero poco a poco iba subiendo la intensidad del partido y a su vez ambos se acercaban con más intención al arco rival.

Los intentos de los niños de San Lázaro FC dieron frutos cerca del final del primer tiempo, donde Samir Machado, dorsal número 9, logró concretar el primer tanto para su equipo con una asistencia de Rodrigo Nadales, quien lleva el número 4 en su espalda.

El segundo tiempo dio inicio con el marcador 1-0 a favor de San Lázaro, pero los niños de Nueva Cádiz A no se iban a quedar tranquilos. Intentaron por todos los medios posibles marcar el empate pero la pelota no quería entrar, hasta que Jairo Morey, con el 30 en su espalda, logró meterla en una jugada en solitario, marcando así el preciado empate.

La alegría duraría poco, porque pocos minutos después el niño Rodrigo Nadales se sacó un remate desde casi la mitad de la cancha que terminó tocando la red a pesar de los esfuerzos del arquero Samuel Roque, dándole la ventaja nuevamente a San Lázaro.

Nueva Cádiz siguió intentando pero Víctor Marrero, arquero de San Lázaro, estuvo muy atento durante todo el encuentro y salvó varias ocasiones de peligro, dando así la oportunidad a su equipo de mantener la ventaja e intentar incrementarla, lo que eventualmente harían nuevamente en los pies de Samir Machado, marcando su segundo tanto del partido.

El resultado final fue de 3-1 a favor de San Lázaro, en un encuentro electrizante de principio a fin. Prometía ser un excelente juego y los niños superaron las expectativas.

El siguiente encuentro se realizó a las 9 am entre la categoría Sub 10 de Segura FC y Atlético Camino, en el que los niños de Atlético Camino salieron con la intención de ganar desde el inicio del mismo.

El partido prometía ser cerrado en un principio, porque a pesar de los intentos de Atlético Camino, lo lograban concretar ya que los niños de Segura FC mantenían una defensa sólida, pero solo era cuestión de tiempo de que alguien marcara la diferencia.

Y ese sería el niño Alejandro Díaz, con el número 23 en su espalda, quien desde el inicio comandaba a su equipo desde la banda izquierda y en una jugada encontraría la oportunidad de asistir a su compañero Luis Moreno, número 7, para marcar el 1-0.

Pero eso no sería lo último que veríamos de Alejandro en este encuentro, ya que siguió corriendo y presionando a sus rivales, dando pases precisos y controlando los hilos del encuentro a conveniencia de su equipo y eventualmente conseguiría marcar el 2-0 en una jugada donde Luis le regresó el favor y la asistencia.

El primer tiempo finalizó con un resultado de 3-0, donde el niño Luis Fuentes, dorsal número 50, marcó el tercero para Atlético Camino con asistencia de Aritz Blanco, con el número 30, quien también estaba haciendo un muy buen partido a nivel colectivo.

El segundo tiempo inició con la misma intensidad con la que finalizó la primera mitad, con nuestro amigo Alejandro animando a sus compañeros a presionar la salida del rival, lo que desembocaría eventualmente en una nueva asistencia de su parte a su compañero Luis Moreno, quien marcaría el 4to gol del encuentro y el segundo en su cuenta personal.

La guinda del pastel la pondría Aritz Blanco quien marcaría el 5to gol para su equipo, logrando un gol y una asistencia en su haber para ingresar al podio de los mejores tres jugadores del encuentro.

El marcador final fue de 0-5 a favor de Atlético Camino, en un encuentro donde Segura FC intentó de muchas maneras pero no logró concretar ninguna ocasión, y a pesar de que contó con una defensa sólida al inicio no pudieron soportar la presión del rival, encabezada por el mejor jugador del partido.

El último encuentro que yo tenía que supervisar durante esta jornada estaba pautado para las 10 am entre los equipos de Centro Ítalo FC y EFAO FC, pero lamentablemente EFAO no se presentó al campo de juego, por lo que se decretó la victoria para Centro Ítalo por incomparecencia del rival.

Es una lástima que ocurran estas cosas, porque los niños se presentan a la cancha con la ilusión de jugar al fútbol y de divertirse con sus compañeros y no es justo que tengan que irse a sus casas tristes y sin jugar por la irresponsabilidad de algunas personas.

Algunos dirán "Pero igual se llevaron la victoria, no es tan malo que no se presenten" pero hay que resaltar el hecho de que son niños. Ellos quieren jugar y divertirse, y sí, ganar es importante, pero es más importante que mantengan la actividad física y que practiquen un deporte donde puedan desarrollar y mejoras sus habilidades. Espero que los entrenadores y principalmente los representantes piensen mucho en esto que les digo acá y empiecen a cumplir sus responsabilidades con sus hijos.

This weekend the third day of the Development League Tournament of the Sucre State Soccer Association was played, in which all the teams that make life in the State participate, with their lower categories, from U-6 to U-12.

It should be noted that I am working as Field Commissioner (formerly known as "technical table") for the A.F.E.S., which means that I must attend the fields to supervise and keep track of the matches assigned to me, so that everything goes as it should, based on the rules of the tournament and soccer in general.

On Saturday, October 22, I went to the Small Synthetic Field of the Félix "Lalito" Velasquez Sports Complex, in the city of Cumaná, to supervise the matches: Ramos Sucre FC vs Sporting FC, Fundacafú FC vs Champion SC and Segura FC vs Atlético Cumaná, all in the Under 8 category.

At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the first match began, where Ramos Sucre FC and Sporting FC faced each other.

The match was very close from start to finish, with both teams fighting for every ball as if their lives depended on it. It was a back and forth match, with dangerous chances for both teams, but in soccer the winner is the one who manages to make those chances happen, and in this case the victory went to Ramos Sucre FC with a score of 2-0. The goals were scored by Raidertshon Gutierrez and Adrián Isaías, with numbers 23 and 13 respectively.

The second match took place at 3:00 pm, between Fundacafú FC and Champion SC.

This game started off evenly, but after Champion SC's first goal their morale was boosted and the children showed a superior soccer to their rivals, so much so that they ended the first half winning 0-4. The children of Fundacafú tried during the second half, but the capricious one did not want to enter in their attempts to score, while the children of Champion managed to score a couple of more chances, ending the game with a score of 0-6. The stars of the match were Angel Mota, wearing number 17 and Enyerbert Mata, wearing number 23, who scored 3 goals each.

The last match of the afternoon started at 4 o'clock, between Segura FC and Atlético Cumaná, which almost did not take place because the Segura FC team did not have the minimum number of players to start the game.

I take this opportunity to make a call to those irresponsible parents who do not fulfill their responsibilities in their children's activities. If you have enrolled your child in any sport, and he/she is called for a game or tournament, please take him/her to participate. It is very important for the development of children to maintain their physical activity, especially if it is in a sport they like.

Back to what concerns us, as in previous matches, this game started very evenly (which surprised me a lot considering that Segura FC had two players less on the field) until the first goal of Atletico Cumana.

Then a soccer storm was unleashed on the field, in which the children of Atletico Cumana obtained the victory with a final score of 0-7 and where the goal count ended as follows: Two goals for Damián Muñoz with number 34, two goals for Manuel Bermúdez with number 25, one goal for Oscar Rincón with number 22 and one goal for Leonel Durán with number 29. The other goal was scored by Kendrick Hernández, Segura FC's number 2, own goal in a fortuitous play.

Now let's move on to Sunday, October 23, when I attended the soccer field of Parcelamiento Miranda, in the city of Cumaná, where the matches would take place: San Lázaro FC vs Nueva Cadiz A, Segura FC vs Atlético Camino, in the U10 category, and the last match between Centro Ítalo FC and EFAO FC in the U11 category.

The first match, between San Lázaro FC and Nueva Cadiz A was expected to be a great game because they are one of the best teams of the tournament in the U10 category, so there were high expectations among all present, including me.

The referee's whistle blew at 8 am, kicking off what promised to be one of the best matches of the day. At the beginning both teams measured their strength and created chances without much danger, as if testing the opponent, but little by little the intensity of the match was increasing and both teams approached with more intention to the opponent's goal.

The attempts of the San Lázaro FC kids paid off near the end of the first half, when Samir Machado, number 9, managed to score the first goal for his team with an assist from Rodrigo Nadales, who wears the number 4 on his back.

The second half started with the score 1-0 in favor of San Lázaro, but the children of Nueva Cádiz A were not going to stay calm. They tried by all possible means to score the equalizer but the ball did not want to go in, until Jairo Morey, with the 30 on his back, managed to put it in in a solo move, thus scoring the precious equalizer.

The joy would be short-lived, because a few minutes later the boy Rodrigo Nadales took a shot from almost halfway down the field that ended up touching the net despite the efforts of goalkeeper Samuel Roque, giving San Lazaro the lead again.

Nueva Cádiz kept trying but Víctor Marrero, San Lázaro's goalkeeper, was very attentive throughout the game and saved several dangerous chances, giving his team the opportunity to keep the lead and try to increase it, which they would eventually do again at the feet of Samir Machado, scoring his second goal of the game.

The final score was 3-1 in favor of San Lazaro, in an electrifying encounter from start to finish. It promised to be an excellent game and the kids exceeded expectations.

The next match took place at 9 am between Segura FC's U10 category and Atletico Camino, in which the children of Atletico Camino came out with the intention of winning from the start of the match.

The game promised to be close at the beginning, because despite the attempts of Atletico Camino, they managed to score because the children of Segura FC kept a solid defense, but it was only a matter of time before someone made the difference.

And that would be the boy Alejandro Diaz, with the number 23 on his back, who from the start commanded his team from the left flank and in one play would find the opportunity to assist his teammate Luis Moreno, number 7, to score the 1-0.

But that would not be the last we would see of Alejandro in this match, as he continued to run and press his opponents, making precise passes and controlling the game to his team's convenience and eventually he would score the 2-0 in a play where Luis returned the favor and the assist.

The first half ended with a score of 3-0, where the boy Luis Fuentes, number 50, scored the third for Atlético Camino with an assist from Aritz Blanco, number 30, who was also playing a very good game collectively.

The second half started with the same intensity with which the first half ended, with our friend Alejandro encouraging his teammates to press the opponent's exit, which would eventually lead to a new assist from him to his teammate Luis Moreno, who would score the 4th goal of the match and the second in his personal account.

The icing on the cake would be Aritz Blanco who would score the 5th goal for his team, getting a goal and an assist to his credit to enter the podium of the best three players of the match.

The final score was 0-5 in favor of Atletico Camino, in a game where Segura FC tried in many ways but failed to score any chance, and although they had a solid defense at the beginning they could not withstand the pressure of the rival, led by the best player of the game.

The last match that I had to supervise during this day was scheduled for 10 am between the teams of Centro Italo FC and EFAO FC, but unfortunately EFAO did not show up to the field, so it was decreed the victory for Centro Italo due to non-appearance of the rival.

It is a shame that these things happen, because children come to the field with the illusion of playing soccer and having fun with their peers and it is not fair that they have to go home sad and without playing because of the irresponsibility of some people.

Some will say "But they still took the victory, it's not so bad that they didn't show up" but we must emphasize the fact that they are children. They want to play and have fun, and yes, winning is important, but it is more important that they stay physically active and play a sport where they can develop and improve their skills. I hope that the coaches and mainly the representatives think a lot about what I am telling you here and start fulfilling their responsibilities with their children.
