Tiempo accidentado [ESP/ENG]

Hi friends.

Sé que he estado un poco ausente últimamente, pero es que la vida se encarga de ponerme pruebas una tras otra y hago lo posible por seguir adelante, pero no es fácil.

I know I've been a bit absent lately, but it's just that life keeps giving me one test after another and I try my best to keep going, but it's not easy.

Sé que hay gente que tiene problemas peores que los míos, pero eso no quiere decir que mis problemas no sean lo suficientemente grandes para mí. Es más, lo son tanto, que han detenido mi vida casi por completo.

I know there are people who have worse problems than mine, but that doesn't mean that my problems aren't big enough for me. In fact, they are so big that they have almost completely stopped my life.

Como deben saber ya, trabajo en una asociación donde se organizan y se desarrollan torneos de fútbol infantil, y aunque amo mi trabajo, las cosas no están yendo tan bien como me gustaría.

As you may already know, I work in an association where children's soccer tournaments are organized and developed, and although I love my job, things are not going as well as I would like.

Me asignaron a una liga recién creada, que se encargará de organizar y desarrollar el Fútbol Playa, pero por problemas con la presidenta de la misma, me vi en la obligación de renunciar a mi cargo allí y empezar de cero en otra liga.

I was assigned to a newly created league, which will be in charge of organizing and developing Beach Soccer, but due to problems with the president of the league, I was forced to resign from my position there and start from scratch in another league.

Cabe destacar que la presidenta de dicha liga era mi amiga, y por ella no saber separar lo personal de lo laboral, tuvimos muchos conflictos y ya no somos amigos.

It is worth mentioning that the president of this league was my friend, and because she did not know how to separate personal and work matters, we had many conflicts and we are no longer friends.

Aparte de mi trabajo en la asociación, yo trabajo como freelancer haciendo algunos diseños de logos, flyers y otras cosas de diseño gráfico, aunque es algo reciente y estoy ganando experiencia, pero en un apagón que hubo en mi ciudad se quemó el disco duro de mi computador.

Apart from my work in the association, I work as a freelancer doing some logo designs, flyers and other graphic design stuff, although it is something recent and I am gaining experience, but in a blackout in my city the hard drive of my computer burned.

Estuve casi un mes sin computador, así que medio resolvía con mi teléfono celular, pero como si todo lo demás fuera poco, también se me dañó mi celular. Un día se apagó, y no quiso encender de nuevo. Actualmente está en servicio técnico y yo estoy rogando para que puedan repararlo.

I was almost a month without a computer, so I half solved it with my cell phone, but as if everything else was not enough, my cell phone was also damaged. One day it turned off, and wouldn't turn back on. It is currently undergoing maintenance and I am begging for it to be repaired.

Entre lo que pasó con mi computadora y lo de mi celular, perdí cerca de 350 GB de información que era muy, muy, pero muy importante para mí, y no hay manera de recuperarla. Claro, hay parte de eso que está en la nube, pero no está todo, así que mucha información se perdió para siempre.

Between what happened with my computer and my cell phone, I lost about 350 GB of information that was very, very, very, very important to me, and there is no way to recover it. Sure, some of it is in the cloud, but not all of it is there, so a lot of information is lost forever.

Conseguí un disco duro usado en buen estado (aunque tiene algunos sectores dañados) en un muy buen precio y pude reactivar mi equipo de trabajo, (me pasó algo bueno, para variar) pero sigo reuniendo el dinero para poder comprar un disco duro nuevo de más capacidad y que esté totalmente en buen estado. No puedo correr el riesgo de que este también se dañe.

I got a used hard drive in good condition (although it has some damaged sectors) at a very good price and I was able to reactivate my work computer, (something good happened to me for a change) but I am still raising the money to be able to buy a new hard drive with more capacity and that is totally in good condition. I can't run the risk of this one getting damaged too.

Espero que este nuevo mes de Marzo sea bueno conmigo y las cosas mejoren, porque de verdad que con todos los problemas que tuve en Febrero tengo suficiente para todo el año.

I hope that this new month of March will be good to me and things will get better, because really with all the problems I had in February I have enough for the whole year.

Disculpen que venga hoy a molestarlos contándoles mis problemas, pero siempre he sido partidario de que hay que expresar todo lo que nos pasa, porque sino todo se acumula dentro de nosotros y puede resultar en un desastre aún peor.

Forgive me for coming today to bother you with my problems, but I have always been an advocate of expressing everything that happens to us, because otherwise everything accumulates inside us and can result in an even worse disaster.
