Hi everyone, today was stressful and a little bit good because wen I wake up and take good care of myself and I go to class, so after the class we had a prayer in our department and after dat I went to laboratory to continue my project work, so I was in the laboratory for almost 7 to 8hours in the laboratory so I spent my day there and I carried out an experiment on pcbs on urine using separating funnel and extract the upper layer and diffuse it and we get our results.

So, after Dat I move to pcbs on blood, for the blood we use an instrument called volumetric flask and we heat for almost 6 hours and after dat we use centrifuge for the 7 samples we carried out and after we centrifuge it we den add 5mm of distilled water to the blood sample and we heat again after Dat we now use separating funnel to collect the down layer the wan Dat settle and we dispose the residue and we we add another 5mm distilled water to the result from the separating funnel we use shaker to shake for 16hours and we filter and we will go and use the uv spectrum for our results.

And for the blood we use a chemical called hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) also for the urine we use the same Chemical.
And then my supervisor ask me to talk about extraction of pore water.
Pore water are usually levels between the layer of soil and sediment i.e they are strongly absorbed and the level of pore water in contaminat is the level of toxicity.
After Dat I clean up the laboratory and went home and take my bath and had my dinner and work a little on my laptop for my write up of my project and after Dat I slept off.

Thanks for your time.

Some PCBs are more harmful than others. Generally, PCBs are very stable which explains their persistence in the environment. At high temperatures, PCBs can burn and generate dangerous by-products such as dioxins. PCBs tend not to evaporate or to dissolve easily in water.....u did a very nice job
