From 0 to 10,000 $HBD in a year. 2022 Goal!
Hi HODLers,
Currently I sit on 640 $HBD and will get 7-10 HBD as Savings rewards. This has been compounding and count on it to reach my aggressive goal.
Considering the current volatility and how the FED is ready to krach the financial markets (therefore ours too), I plan to allocate more ressources and investments to Stablecoins! $HBD being on the top of the list.
My current journey
I started out with literally 0HBD in savings back in January. I started saving them by the end of the month but truly kicked out my plan to save them all in the beginning of February.
My original plan was to save close to 200 $HBD through post rewards. As you can see I am a little bit on top of that. I have sold some H-E engine tokens from community I believe less in to boost my savings.
If I can push it to 800 $HBD by month-end, I will probably be able to make 12-15 HBD as savings payouts in May! Crazy to think I just had 2-3 HBD in March. Compounding is my friend... and yours!
My new 2022 Goal!
So I went from saving 200 $HBD to a goal of 10,000 $HBD! That is quite a big shift but I will put some extra work to reach it. As there are only 8 months left, I will need to add close to $1,000 a month!
I have some of my HBD farming in the HBD-USDC pool and might bring them back on my Savings if the APR drops on Polycub.
Keep pushing the limit and put ever higher goals!

This is a great goal to have 10,000 HBD in Savings which at the current APY of around 22% should get you 2,200 HBD per year or 183.33 HBD per month which is quite crazy. As I have seen your post and while the same goal was hiding in a corner of my mind as well, I will undertake the challenge to get to 10,000 HBD by end of the year as well. I am standing at 1,193.225 HBD in Savings so let's see if we can both make it!

Same here! Definitely seems out of reach right now but who knows! At least I couldn't say I set an easy goal. If I achieve that one I will be proud :D

I have been thinking about selling some coins on HE and drop that into HBD, but I am not sure which one xD
10000 is quite a goal. That world net you around 160$ a month.
My goal is a little fuzzier. I just want as much as possible. lol. currently I've got around 167.
I also sold off a bunch of hive engine assets. For a long time I've been concentrating to much on the second layer. With returns like this though the first layer is definitely where it's at for me.

It will be interesting to see if more and more people start to stake their HBD instead of transitioning it to Hive how that will effect the price of Hive. I think it means less sell pressure which would be a win/win.. Time will tell.

Indeed, this could ease sell pressure from HBD conversion (before sending Hive to exchanges). On the other hand, some HBD might have been converted to buy Hive through the market and then staked (Buy pressure then).
Who knows? I definitely don't but it seems to have been quite neutral if not positive so far.

That’s a nice goal man! I’m hoping to attain something like 3-4K HBD in the savings before the year is out but one problem is the Splinterlands team is a pain and coaxes the money out of my account here and there :D.
Compounding interest is an amazing thing that’s for sure! I’m happy that you’re earning 12+ in interest in a month!

10k HBD is a great goal and I think the base rate of the pHBD pool should stay above 30%. I don't think Khal will drop it under that and the underlying HBD assets have part of it in the Hive Savings so it covers part of the interest.

Nice one, you just motivated me, although I withdrew my $2k+ few weeks ago because I needed to pay rent, but I have started all over again. I’m on $400+. Thanks for the inspiration
