FTM is pumping! Network Upgrade and rumours of Andre Cronje being back?

Quick message to talk about Fantom $FTM behaving super hot thir moning as it is up >+40% in the past 24 hours.
The reason? I don't really know. There have been rumours of Andre Cronje being back and coding behind the scenes but what do I know...
There was a network upgrade I noticed over the past 48 hours which made gas fees even lower than usual. For the past weeks we paid 0.01-0.08 FTM for a tx and now it is back to <0.01 $FTM.
I have read there had been some network enhancement and that might just be what investors got excited about.
I am just enjoying it as you know I am a big FTM holder. The Fantom native blue chips are also pumping.
As I developped a DeFi strategy on SpiritSwap, I am more than pleased by what is happening.

FTM has been my defi and NFT home for the past year and a half.
The drama of this year in FTM is hard to describe to most people who haven't been here throughout the roller coaster of madcap events.
Exploits and slow rugs across DAOs, pillaging of airdrops in Geist, the vamp wars of OXDAO vs. VEDAO, the fuck-up of immutability of solidex on top of the immutability of Solidly (Andre's baby), people fighting on discord and twitter, people getting really butthurt about Andre exiting fantom the way he did with his biz partner via a very intentionally-poorly worded tweet.... the market dump after dump.
Yet, we're still building, we're still here, we've passed another major test I think. Fantom is not dead.
