Very sad. But I believe with time other exchanges will comply in the future
it is because most of us need some kind of exchange to be able to withdraw the crypto profit or holding into fiat, while the exchange is under government supervision, that is why KYC is needed to be able to convert and easier for the goverment to take track down the owner of the crypto.
