Good day Bible readers, Summary of what I learnt on our live worship service on zoom

Good News Translation
John 13:35 If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples.”

As Christians, God has commanded us to love one another so that it will be obvious that we are his disciples. We are to love our enemies as well as those who love us.

Good News Translation
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God's blessing and God's curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life. Love the Lord your God, obey him and be faithful to him, and then you and your descendants will live long in the land that he promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

John 15:3 You have been made clean already by the teaching I have given you.

We must choose to do good as Christians, and we must be aware of the decisions we are making. If we do something wrong, we should always come to God and ask for compassion, and God's grace and unlimited mercy will speak for us; yet, this does not mean we should continue to sin.

Jeremiah 9:24 If any want to boast, they should boast that they know and understand me, because my love is constant, and I do what is just and right. These are the things that please me. I, the Lord, have spoken.”

Christians should understand that their uprightness is a product of God's favor, not of what they accomplish. As believers, we should not brag about ourselves, but if we must, we should brag about what Christ has done for us.
