El evento fight night del sábado, tenia como gran atractivo el combate estelar, iban a estar luchando Rafael Fiziev vs Rafael Dos Anjos, pelea importante para ambos, pues venían de victorias y seguir sumando los eleva en el ranking de la UFC. Rafael Dos Anjos es un gran veterano, fue campeón en su momento, pero en los últimos años le ha costado mucho contra peleadores del top, aunque venia con dos victorias seguidas y en su anterior combate dejo una buena performance.

Este peleador nacido en Kazajistán, partía como favorito, para mi Dos Anjos iba tener muchas complicaciones y efectivamente eso sucedió en este combate.

El combate comenzó con Dos Anjos, queriendo derribar a Fiziev, pero se podía visualizar la disparidad en el físico, claramente Rafael Fiziev estaba mucho mas grande que el brasileño, lo cual dificultaba el intento de derribo que buscaba Dos Anjos, aunque también debo decir, que cuenta con gran defensa contra derribos o por lo menos en esta pelea lucio muy bien el de Kazajistán. Como Dos Anjos no podía llevarlo al suelo, quiso plantar una lucha de pie, pero fue superado en striking, cada vez que Fiziev lanzaba un golpe, terminaba impactando con mucha contundencia en el rostro del brasileño y todo estaba a favor de Fiziev.
Todos los intentos de derribo en los dos primeros asaltos, fueron defendidos, por parte de Fiziev, quien luego estaba castigando con striking, pero también conectaba algunas patadas abajo, haciendo que Dos Anjos no supiera que hacer, simplemente seguía intentando, pero la fortaleza física de Fiziev no se lo permitía, por mas técnica que tenia el antiguo campeón, la fuerza es un aspecto fundamental y en eso estaba perdiendo por mucho. Solo le quedaba enfrentarlo de pie, aquí Dos Anjos tuvo mucho mas volumen, lanzo mas golpes, pero con menos efectividad y con mucho menos potencia que su rival.
Rafael Fiziev tiene mucha potencia en ambas manos, Dos Anjos tenia que cuidarse, un golpe podía acabar todo, pero teniendo pocas chances de ganar, tuvo que salir arriesgar, para el 5to round estaba con la pelea perdida, los derribos no estaban siendo efectivos y a corto la distancia para enfrentarse en striking. Sucedió lo que se temía, Rafael Fiziev conecto un tremendo golpe de izquierda, que hizo tumbar a Dos Anjos y se acabaron las acciones. Mucho dominio tuvo Rafael Fiziev, buena defensa contra derribos, gran striking y mediante una gran finta de rodilla, pudo abrir espacio a la guardia del brasileño y luego conectar el golpe final de TKO.

Existía una gran incógnita sobre el cardio de Fiziev, este combate iba ser a 5 round, desenlace que nunca había tenido este peleador, mientras que Rafael Dos Anjos ya es un hombre de mil batallas, esto podía perjudicarlo en sus aspiraciones de victoria, pero pudo aguantar muy bien, aunque si hubo un pasaje del 3er round, donde se noto muy cansado y fue el único momento donde Dos Anjos si pudo derribarlo. Todo había sido dominio de Fiziev, pero cuando vi que sucedió esto, pensé que la pelea podia dar un giro, quedaban todavía 2 round mas y Dos Anjos claramente gano el 3ro.
Para el 4to y 5to round, pudo soportar un poco mas el volumen que intentaba proponer el brasileño, pues comenzó a lanzar menos golpes, pero siguió manteniendo la gran efectividad, lo cual es sumamente importante ya que le permitió seguir sumando puntos y Dos Anjos tenia miedo de ser tumbado por una pegada de poder. El último round donde consiguió el TKO, fue relativamente rápido, el brasileño teniendo urgencia, salió con todo y en menos de 2 minutos lo mandaron a la lona y pudo conseguir la victoria el hombre de Kazajistán.
Se pudo notar la falta de cardio, Rafael Fiziev tiene que seguir trabajando en este aspecto, posiblemente tenga otras batallas a 5 round, no puede llegar con tanta fatiga al final, porque se le puede complicar la pelea, fácilmente contra otro luchador del top 5, pudo haber tenido grandes problemas, simplemente el físico y la potencia de su pegada pudo mantener la distancia ante Dos Anjos, pero todo los luchadores de la elite tienen gran cardio, cuentan con mucho mas físico que el brasileño y también con gran pegada en sus puños. La división de peso ligero, debe ser una de las mas difíciles, probablemente la mejor de la UFC, por lo que tendrá que mejorar su cardio, porque de lo contrario, no creo que pueda ganar una batalla que se vaya hacia lo último contra los mejores.

Grandes pruebas para Fiziev - Great tests for Fiziev
¿Ahora que sigue para Fiziev? Realmente lo que viene para este gran peleador, van hacer peleadores muy fuertes, ya pudo ganarle al top 7 de la división, ahora imagino que vendrá un rival fuerte, pudo superar esta gran prueba y ahora quizás le toque un Mateusz Gamrot, hombre que esta en el puesto número 8 y viene de una enorme victoria. Aquí si tendría una gran lucha, estamos hablando de uno de los mejores prospectos que hay en la división, alguien que tiene una enorme habilidad en el suelo, seguramente si logre derribarlo y hacer que luzca muy mal Fiziev.
Si la UFC quisiera cuidarlo, buscaría un rival de similar estilo, una persona que busque mas el striking, pero todo el top 6 hacia abajo, cuenta con gran lucha en el suelo, aunque también tienen buen striking, son hombres muy completos, por eso esta división están fuerte, así que Rafael Fiziev tendrá un rival muy duro, puedo ver a Beneil Dariush como otro contrincante, pero el tiene tiempo sin luchar y no creo que pueda esperar mucho mas tiempo. Mas arriba estaría Michael Chandler, pero no creo que vaya a luchar contra Rafael Fiziev, no le genera ningún impacto y siguiendo en el top no le darán un rival todavía.
El rival que tiene mas sentido para mi, sin dudas seria Mateusz Gamrot, ambos tendrán el mismo tiempo de recuperación, son peleadores que vienen subiendo mucho en la clasificación y seria interesante verlos en acción. Gamrot a pesar que su fuerte esta en el suelo, tiene también buen striking, aquí podremos encontrar una lucha entretenida, me encantaría que sucediera, aunque veo superior a Gamrot, Rafael Fiziev tiene mucho poder de KO, eso es lo peligroso de este peleador y todo puede suceder en el octágono.
Espero verlo peleando nuevamente este año, tendrá bastante espacio para recuperarse, aunque la pelea llego hasta el 5to round, no sufrió un gran castigo, claramente domino su pelea, logro vencer a un histórico de la UFC y ahora deseo ver que mas puede dar contra los mejores. Demostro una gran performance, Rafael Fiziev sin dudas es muy talentoso, toca ver que mas puede conseguir, pues logro entrar en lo mas alto del top y su próximo rival será alguien muy fuerte.

Dos Anjos dejo de ser un peleador top hace mucho, hoy en día está para ir pensando en el retiro. No lo digo por haber perdido esta pelea, sino que ya está viejo para la categoría dónde se encuentra, su performance no está al nivel de ninguno de los que tiene por delante, así que seguramente seguirá cuenta atrás en el ranking.
Estoy de acuerdo contigo bro, está en una división muy fuerte y lamentablemente, no podrá vencer a los que están por arriba de el, quizás seguir para ganar un poco más de dinero, pelear con gente fuera del top y luego retirarse. Aunque los que están arriba del top 10, igual están muy fuertes jeje, esa división está prendida en llamas.
Si así es, creo que es la mejor de la UFC en cuanto a competitividad, y si Volkanoswky sube se pondrá mejor. Hay mucho poder en esa división
