PAIN a necessity and a plague

Pain

Why is the body programmed for pain? Why do we have to feel pain to feel good or even healthy?

As humans in this borrowed body pain is inevitable good or bad.

To be great, you must go through pain.

You have to go through pain first before we feel relieved.

We see this play out in massages, to loosen the knots of stress one must feel pain first before relief follows through then a sound sleep with such lightness.

After getting a massage, you'll likely feel loose and maybe even a little lightheaded for several hours after. It's also possible you may feel sore or sensitive if you received a deep tissue massage; as these massages involve intense stimulation to muscle groups across your body.

I love massages💆🏽‍♀️

The pain experienced through workouts is another ballgame as well. When I don't feel pain after working out especially after a long period of not working out, for me the target has not been hit.

The pain comes from micro trauma in the muscle caused by rigorous exercise. This is not a bad thing. A muscle gets stronger, building denser tissue, when it has a reason to remodel itself. When it senses the tiny trauma, the muscle repairs tissue to allow for more endurance. The key here is the “micro” part of “trauma”.

Same thing applies in keeping fit and healthy, you need to work out- face the pain heads on to feel the comfort or let me say bask in confidence of self and carriage.

What about work- you need to learn, study, write exams/tests and the likes to finally get to the point of your dreams...
Even if you feel school mustn’t be in your agenda, you must work non-the less.

Rattling your brain and reasoning is enough work on it's own. If your body parts are not put to use they become useless.
Which points out so clearly that you need to feel pain first before you can get relief of some sort.

“good pain” is what doctors and physiotherapists may refer to as “delayed onset muscle soreness”. This happens when you’ve challenged a muscle with something it’s not used to; new, returning or increased exercise. Within one to two days, you’ll start to feel soreness in the area and it may be tender to touch. But, the soreness goes away quickly after that.

The “bad pain” could be derived from getting hurt by an accident or illness from bad decisions in our past, from letting go of discipline and stress.

The relaxation period after a period of stress has it's own appeal though.

Not all pains can be under our control that is for sure.

So come to think of it, life is programmed in such a way that there must be some sort of pain termed “good pain” first before enjoyment and “bad pain” from illnesses brought on ourselves or the force of nature (genes)and or not taken good care of and or through accidents which could be out of our control.

What it then means is, pain is inevitable, we just have to select our pain and own it.

Smile... laugh often... love more... be happy and grateful always! We are not promised tomorrow

Some pain comes before gain. We can reflect on the pain during rigorous exercises. and ofcourse the pain of bringing forth a child. Things to reflect on.

Perfectly explained. Pain is always necessary to grow as individuals. The problem is that not everyone learns at the same speed. Sometimes pain can be too strong and with serious consequences.

Thank you loads🙏🏽
Yeah. Right on the spot. Not everyone learns at the same pace nor does everyone have the same stamina to bear pain. In all we hope for the right kind of pain that leads to healthy growth.
Beautiful input🙏🏽 💕
