Confused by two songs about killing your girlfriend

I used tp Love Her.gif

There I was happily writing my little story for this week's Weekend Engagement Concept. Joyfully I wrote about how one day I left my ex-wife's bedroom (if you both have a bedroom you know something is not right just FYI) thinking that we might be better off with her dying.

Now I am normally really a decent guy, so when I get happy thoughts like that you can be sure something is not right. Well luckily this all happened years ago but still, it´s a nice little toxic well to draw your inspiration from.

If you want some more background on that just read this:
[WE114] If I could do it all over, there is just one thing I would do differently!

As that is not what this story is about, because what I want to tell you today happened after writing the story. Hmm, more like during the writing process. There was this lovely song that started playing in my head, and it cranked up the volume.

It went something like:

I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I had to put her six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

Do you have that too Dear Reader, that some songs that play in your head respect the neighbors and other ones play so loud you can hardly hear yourself think?

Well I could still hear myself think, barely but sufficiently to finish the story.

It might be that I am getting old, or that my head is so cluttered with songs that I don´t even remember who´s song that was. Because at first, I thought it was actually this song.

Avenged Sevenfold - A Little Piece Of Heaven

As this guy also happily killed his girlfriend and ripped her heart out right before her eyes., but when I thought about it a bit longer I remembered that he did it for all the wrong reasons.

Okay well as my mind is a mess I just type it in and let Youtube answer me.

Oh My Granny, how could I have messed up like that? I even heard his voice in my head and yes Avenged Sevenfold´s singer sounds a little like Axle but come on. From what I thought was the least famous G&R album, until I remembered "The Spaghetti Incident". And no I do not think Chinese Democracy is a Guns & Roses Album I think it´s an Axle Rose album (and a good one).

So without any further ado here is the song that I was thinking of while writing about killing my ex-wife.

Guns And Roses - I used to love her

Now I must agree that might be a very aggressive approach. If that ain´t your style, if you rather go for that passive-aggressive approach there is one more song that might suit you very well.

She loved this song and told me Brian Molko wrote this for Placebo´s ex-drummer Steve Hewitt. Now there is your ultimate proof that she is full of it. The song is a cover and the Orginal is by Archive.

Now I only have one problem left and that fortunately is not my ex.

The problem is that I can not choose between the original song and the Placebo cover. Therefore I will let you decide Dear Reader, what version would you like to dedicate to someone (let us know both the version and the someone in the comments).

Archive- "Fuck You."

Or

Placebo - "Fuck You."

Now Dear Reader please don´t take this last bit personal, but feel free to make it personal in the comments as mentioned, and have a lovely rest of your day.
