Round - Coming Around Again
**After not having any appealing thoughts to write a post using yesterday´s Appeal prompt, Round did much better. **
It triggered a song from way back:
Way back in 1986 and this baby boy loved the sweet song back then, little did he know this song is actually all about his life to come.
Because if you are willing to play the game, it will be coming a-round again.
I played the game so many times, won some ...lost most, but ended up in a good place.
It was a struggle coming full circle with myself. Accepting that I could not be what she wanted me to be. But that I also wasn´t what she accused me of being (no I am not Johnny Depp).
It´s hard to find yourself when people are trying to tell you what you are, especially if those people are very close to you.
It took me a long time to see she was wrong.
It even took the help of a specialist.
I needed other people telling me that I was not what she had made me out to be....and to start the journey of being what I am today.
Please listen, you might believe that your partner has your best interests at heart.... That they try and help to make you a better person, they might be....
But not if they are highly intelligent narcissistic creatures with a lust for money.
I got out of that one alive, no longer willing to play the game until I got myself sorted, and indeed once you are truly willing to play the game....love will be coming around again.

@russellstockley is good at providing daily prompts and most of them have fitted in well with what I want to write about so far. Even if the prompt does not do anything for you, you can still write something original about your daily life or some fiction - whatever!
Your story was interesting; sounds like she was gaslighting you. I believe in using the power of our own imagination to create and live life on our own terms. Easier said than done, I admit, but just like this daily challenge, regular practice helps to develop the facility.

@hirohurl very motivational and indeed if I would have thought about the word gaslighting I would have used it, it was indeed what happened to the point we got into a Heard & Depp stand-off.
But these daily prompts allow me to let my mind run free out of the niche(s) I normally stick to. Definitely appreciate the opportunity.
