The Tune Tune Train keeps rolling:

The Tune Tune Train is a challenge I came up with based on the Three Tunes Tuesday format. It´s a TTT with a riddle!

How doe it work?

I will give you three great songs and you can win a $1 Ecency boost if you tell me what connects the songs.
A connection can be: they are all about flowers, they have the same drummer, they all sing about Pink Mushrooms, or they are all kids from famous parents. Just to give an idea of what a connection might be.

It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the Tune Tune Train. The first one that drops the solution in the comments gets a $1 boost on their next post!
Or you can just wait till I solve the riddle in next week's post.

And these were last week's songs:

The Dresden Dolls - The Jeep Song
Carter U.S.M. - After The Watershed
The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony

Last Weeks Clues Were

Last week's hints: Something old, something new, something borrowed, something black
&
The hint in my midnight gems show was: Look at the title!

Throwing Pebbles = Rolling Stones!!!!

Listen to that first song you can actually hear them sing; Paint it Red.
Second song, you can hear them sing Ruby Tuesday!
And the third song was the giveaway because we all know that The Verve Borrowed from the RS song Last Time, just listen!

We Have No Winner

Nobody got the Rolling Stones link, seriously? We need a bigger recession, because a dollar is not enough to make you guys and dolls even think or listen-

Here we go again!

All Aboard!

The Tune Tune Train is Taking Off!
Are You Ready To Riddle?

I loved this song when I discovered it on HIVE and I think it needs a bit more shilling! So here it is again as part of these three song that have such a simple connection.

Claire Mobey - Song of Hope

Now for the second song I spend over an hour choosing the right tune, and in the end, I was left with two.

And I could not choose, so I will do a Four tunes Tuesday for once. But they both fit the connection, so it should make it easier for you guys.

DroomsinDroom - Bella

Kirsten Richard - Ons is Groot

Now, this next song is THE giveaway, it´s really easy this week so make sure you comment first.
And even though they are not representative and could be considered trailer trash, these guys make such great music. This is probably not their best song but it made a great fit and vid.

Die Antwoord - Fatty Boom Boom

That second one is pretty awesome. I've never heard of any of these before of course, but I really dig the style of them. Great stuff!

Thanks, I spend so much time looking for a great 2nd and when i found one...I found two.... and I really liked them both a lot. But the style indeed is very nice, they are both by that Kirsten Richards guy the 1st is with a band and 2nd solo. Been listening to him ever since I discovered him this weekend !LOLZ

What a gorgeous song from @ClaireMobey to kick things off - well done Claire, it's clear that you are a nice caring person who cares and wants to help those who most need it, well done - is that @jasperdick singing the harmonies with you?

Are all the bands from South Africa maybe? I know for sure that Claire is and so is Die Antwoord and I think those middle songs are sang in Afrikaans (or possibly Dutch?)

Ons is Groot is a gorgeous song and Bella is really nice too, but I really really like the humour and rapping in the last one by Die Antwoord - quality stuff!!

Hi! Yes! That is me singing with Claire - it is one of her songs that she contributed to our duo "MobeyDick"... although I helped with the chorus a bit!

@whywhy - thank you so much for sharing it!!!

Yes, I would think there is a South African connection between all of the songs listed here!

I love the song and it should be shared, and indeed this weeks connection was South Africa indeed.

Damn I knew it was too easy, but you are 100% right. I love that song by Claire I had it featured in one of my Older Midnight Gems Sessions. Did not want to call her out this time as she would have solved the riddle in no time.

And those songs in Afrikaans are awesome been listening to that guy ever since I found him (last weekend).

And the antwoord is my guilty pleasure they are disturbing but the sounds they put out are a blast every single song.

Boost is coming your way!

I used to play that one so loud in the car my kid loved it, fortunately, he did not understand the lyrics😂 But Die Antwoord is awesome sick, crazy awesome but I like stuff that is not normal.
To make a long story short I had a SA family staying with us for over a month and the were religious and made it very clear that Die Antwoord was not representative of SA music😂.

Now I kinda guessed that already but being Dutch I did try to pick up on some songs in Afrikaans after they left it´s such an interesting language much prettier than modern Dutch
