Tune Tune Train Riddle [Week 5] - "Anti Heroes & Anti Clues"
The Tune Tune Train keeps rolling:
The Tune Tune Train is a challenge I came up with based on the Three Tunes Tuesday format. It´s a TTT with a riddle!
How doe it work?
I will give you three great songs and you can win a $1 Ecency boost if you tell me what connects the songs.
A connection can be: they are all about flowers, they have the same drummer, they all sing about Pink Mushrooms, or they are all kids from famous parents. Just to give an idea of what a connection might be.
It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the Tune Tune Train.
Or wait till I solve the riddle in next week's post.
And these were last week's songs:
Missy Elliott - All N My Grill
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
Bloodhound Gang - Fire Water Burn
Last Weeks Clues Were
So the connection hint was: It´s all in the lyrics.
And there were more hints, as I gave it away now by sharing:
Space may be the final frontier
But it's made in a Hollywood basement
And, Cobain, can you hear the spheres
Singing songs off Station to Station?
And Alderaan's not far away
It's Californication
We Have A Winner
@mypathtofire is a lyrical genius finding all the clues shortly after I posted the riddle. If you read the quote I just shared you saw that I gave away the hardest clue to make it easy for all. Because it took me 22 years to find the Star Wars reference in the RHCP song.
But with the Bloodhound Gang it only took me one listen to realize they were kinda like
Han Solo always stroking their own Wookie.
Now Missy took a bit more effort but fortunately someone somewhere played this song so often that a certain moment I heard Big Boi’s rapping
“And people around me is tellin’ me that you’s a stalker / Like Darth Vader takes a Skywalker / I told you I was the street talker.”
So the answer was light years away, it came from another Galaxy: Star Wars
Here we go again!
All Aboard!
The Tune Tune Train is Taking Off!
Are You Ready To Riddle?
Tonight I am back to doing what I do best sharing obscure unknown gems. Of which the first is so sexy, it´s dark, hunting, and deeper than you think. This one is asking for a headset, and darkness but a store of moonlight.
Newborn Huskies - In Total Darkness
First, there was nothing, total darkness and then something happened. Slowly there was an evolution and the world started up, and the world started spinning. Infinite unlike you & me.
Cab named Creekex - The World Started Spinning
Jess and I seem to have the same background, and we are both back to me myself and I. Both of us sitting here in darkness, being stroked by that little moonbeam. And nobody is answering us tonight.
Oh, how lovely is this next song, subdued melancholy from an angelic voice in an empty bed.
Jess Revell - I feel like lorazepam when you split me in two
This week's hint: Hope you're wearing your viewing glasses to see the bigger picture
And here is an Anti Clue, it has nothing to do with these songs ever being featured in one of my previous post, I already used that connection in the past. 😁
Let me know in the comments if you figure out what connects these three songs.
First to get it right, gets a nice Ecency Boost!
The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT
Ah, okay, I think finally understand. I still doubt I will get any of them, but this one made the most sense to me of all the ones I have seen so far. I mean the one last week. Not the one this week. :)
!LOL I know they ain´t easy, but agree that this one was straightforward. I think that if you get the clue and link it to one of the vids they are all doable. Like the week before if you had seen the series, or knew the girl that covered those 2 songs you would have had a clue. The same with the son of Bono, if you had checked the other two bands you would have known the girl was Sting's daughter. But it takes a spark and some digging.
This week is again a totally different angle, but if you read the hint right, and look just beyond the video itself you might see it this week.

There was a show on UK tv Never Mind the Buzzcocks (I think it's been revived, though I've not watched the new iteration) and they had a round similar to this, and I was rubbish at that as well.
anyway, nice tunes.
I loved that show, they made a Dutch version of the original which was also pretty well done, but well I love a British accent so it would never compare.
Nice one, these were all really good and all unearthed gems too, which makes them even more special. Cab named Creekex - The World Started Spinning -- Wow, that was some song.
It was and when I found it nobody on Youtube had heard it before it had no views, can you imagine?
That's mad, there is so many quality tunes with feck all views and pure shite with millions of views, tis a mad auld world eh!
