Thank you so much for the post. Absolutely amazing and a flood of great memories back. I was heartbroken when he didn't get the 2006 World Cup starting spot between the sticks. It was shocking for that matter.

The way he was so commanding on field, I won't be surprised if FC Bayern Munich AG ends up buying Japan, USA, Russia and the whole world for that matter. He's so commanding. I remember in 2004 (I think) that he attacked national team mate Miroslav Klose who was at Wolfsburg I think it was. He must be listened too!

And I think the worst thing about it is that it was not his fault but a dispute between third parties, a real shame, something similar to what happened with Benzema in France.

He was very intimidating, I don't remember many players who stood up to him when he was upset, although many times this played against him, I prefer his serene version, when he left his arrogance aside and became more serious, I think he was even more intimidating.
