Medicine In Verse - by Evie.
Medicine In Verse
The pen's ink is fuel for
distinctive paradigms, souls expressions,
the black dog, dark holes
fresh eyes opening under sunlit parasols.
Trains of thoughts move down
less traveled roads, like
obscure metro lines in outer Tokyo.
Ambiguous thought patterns, handpicked words,
limericks that disturb and move
the tuned-in ears.
The author's craft provokes imagination
in scholar, lecturer and nerd.
Catharsis to creative license, medicine in verse.
A birth's first cry, last supper in a hearse,
linguistic secrets woven into pages,
art locked in cages, and
how the bird flew free.
