Many Crypto projects and Airdrops. What can I trust?

Ever since cryptocurrency became public and, to an extent, an accepted source of earning, there have been way too many projects available to earn some free money. I'm not a hater. Some of them can earn you millions like the SHIB airdrops that have people swimming in free money. Some are, unfortunately, a waste of your time.

I'm selective of where and from whom I get information about crypto-related projects. @trumpman does an amazing job keeping us abreast with information and I guess I can trust his wit and guts to the best of my knowledge. He's good people just like a lot of others over here. However, some people just haven't earned the right of credibility.

Today, I got a link and a voice note from a close friend of mine about an Airdrop. First off, the voice was not hers. It was a guy I don't know from absolutely anywhere talking about how people in Egypt have been benefitting from this and now it's Nigeria's turn. I'm not a fan of that sort of talk. I like information.

What project is it affiliated with? Who's behind it? What's the utility of this thing? Say something intelligent at least if you want me to spend even 10 seconds of my time on the information you're passing to me.

Before clicking on the link, I told her I thought it was silly and I wasn't interested. But I opened it and after reading, it made some sense and I received the token. However, it's pretty stressful as it requires a lot of referring so here's the link. Let me know if you have any further information about this project that I might have missed.

There are certain details I look out for and if I can get them, I delve further by asking people I can really trust before I proceed. I'm don't know so much so I'd rather not trust my intelligence alone on certain matters.

I've had people asking me questions about this PI project they've been mining for nearly a year now. Someone actually told me it's the next Bitcoin. I'm not invested in it. It seems to be a lost cause. I've done my research and I still have no faith in it but it's free so I guess it doesn't matter so much.

I've learned you can't trust anything 100 percent, even those with the best intentions sometimes screw up or fail.

Being cautious about links is a good move as you have pointed out.

I think the most important take away, is we are in a high risk market space and while it gets said a lot the best advice is not to invest more than you can lose

You just have to be more active in research about the project you want to take part in so you will not be a victim of scam one.
