Hoy vuelvo con ustedes para mostrarles otro arte en la técnica de esgrafiado, para los que no saben, es una técnica donde se cubre el lienzo con pintura negra o cualquier otro color y debajo tiene una base de colores o monocolor, en este caso es plateado. Luego usando un punzón se raspa la superficie para ir sacando la silueta en el contraste de ambas superficies.

Lo cierto es que en el de la guitarra, hubo un feedback entre @bertrayo y yo, donde él me contó que colecciona artes donde aparezcan cuatros venezolanos, y yo me ofrecí a realizar uno en esta técnica como regalo para él.

Luego de mandarle varios modelos él escogió esta foto que verán a continuación, y fue la que plasmé usando esta técnica llamada esgrafiado.

The truth is that in the one of the guitar, there was a feedback between @bertrayo and me, where he told me that he collects arts where fours appear, and I offered to make one in this technique to give it as a gift.

After sending him several models he chose this photo that you will see below, and it was the one I created using this technique called sgraffito.

El proceso comenzó pasando la foto a blanco y negro con efecto tipo dibujo, y luego lo pasé a un boceto a lápiz en una hoja blanca.

The process began by turning the photo to black and white with a drawing-like effect, and then I moved it to a pencil sketch on a white sheet of paper.

Comencé por buscar mis materiales, la libreta con hojas especiales para esgrafiado, un palillo de madera, un punzoncito que traen los teléfonos celulares que me ha servido muy bien para las líneas finas, una brocha , una tijera y el lápiz.

Lo segundo que hice fue pasar la figura a la página negra, recortando por partes el boceto que hice a lápiz, es un proceso que lleva tiempo ya que hay que hacerlo por partes, y luego haciendo las líneas con el punzón.

Aquí no hay espacio para equivocarse, de hacerlo hay que empezar de nuevo en otra hoja.

Al terminar las líneas principales continué raspando la superficie para darle forma al resto del retrato, tratando de que quedara lo más parecido posible,Lo más díficil aquí fue hacer los trastes del cuatro, pero se logró.

After finishing the main lines I continued scraping the surface to give shape to the rest of the portrait, trying to make it as similar as possible.

Me encantó realizar este autorretrato con un propósito, espero que a mi amigo Andrés le guste también, ya buscaremos la forma para hacerlo llegar a ese Múseo que estoy segura creará de una manera espectacular.

Y cómo las musas no avisan, sino que irrumpen para hacer nacer lo que ellas quieran, haciéndo esto nació un poema, dedicado especialmente a Andrés, a su ser artista y Luthier.

El poema nació imaginando si yo fuese un instrumento nacido de sus manos...
