El Triunfo del León. (Esp/Eng)

En mi casa hay una gatita, pero para nosotros ella se convierte en una Leona cada vez que caza, hace unos meses cazó una pequeña iguana, y aunque no lo crean hubo lucha, y nos dió un poco de tristeza pero así es la ley de la naturaleza.

In my house there is a little cat, but for us she turns into a lioness every time she hunts, a few months ago she hunted a small iguana, and even though you won't believe it there was a fight, and it made us a little sad but that's the law of nature.

Cuando pensé en un Arte de un León venciendo a un Drágón imaginé a mi gata como un León grande que devora a un dragón y basé mi arte inspirado en una foto que le hicimos.

When I thought about an Art of a Lion defeating a Dragon I imagined my cat as a big Lioness devouring a Dragon and I based my art inspired by a photo we took of her.

Para realizar este dibujo usé una aplicación digital para dibujar y un lapicito de teléfono, se llama Color, y me encanta porque es como un blog de dibujo digital.

To make this drawing I used a digital drawing app and a phone pencil, it's called Color, and I love it because it's like a digital drawing blog.

Luego busqué la foto de mi gata con la iguana entre sus dientes para poder usarla como modelo de mi imágen.

I then looked for the photo of my cat with the iguana in its mouth to use as a model for my image.

Subi la foto a la app para gestionar el tamaño y poder tomar de allí los elementos para hacer mi composición del León con el Dragón.

I uploaded the photo to the app to manage the size and be able to take from there the elements to make my composition of the Lion with the Dragon.

Para realizar la transformación trabajé por capas, usando la foto de mi gata como base del arte final.

To make the transformation, I worked in layers, using the photo of my cat as the basis for the final art.

Con diferentes pinceles fui tomando la silueta de las formas, a la iguana le coloqué una cola más larga y puntiaguda para que pareciera la cola de un Dragón y unas alas , a mi gata le hice una melena alrededor del cuello para darle la figura de Leon. Luego fui dibujando y rellenando con diversos pinceles y colocando elementos del lugar de la lucha, también dándole texturas al cuerpo y decorando el espacio.

With different brushes I was taking the silhouette of the shapes, to the iguana I put a longer and sharper tail so that it looked like the tail of a Dragon and some wings, to my cat I made a mane around the neck to give it the figure of a Lion. Then I was drawing and filling with various brushes and placing elements of the place of the fight, also giving textures to the body and decorating the space.

Luego de terminar de pintar manualmente con el lápiz digital la escena, pasé la imágen a PicArt donde le coloqué unos efectos de color para ver cual me gustaban más.

After I finished painting the scene by hand with the digital pen, I passed the image to PicArt where I put some color effects to see which ones I liked the most.

En este me gustaron los colores intensos, pero se veía más como algo infantil, así que lo descarté.

Luego le dí un toque más ocre y con un fondo oscuro resaltando mejor la figura del dragón y la melena del León. Como también se ve en la imágen de portada que es la que presento como resultado final.

Todo esto se hizo con apps de dibujo digital donde usé un lapiz digital, pero es resultado de mi imaginación, transformando la foto de mi cazadora gata.

Then I gave it a more ocher touch and with a dark background highlighting the dragon figure and the mane of the Lion better. As you can also see in the cover image that is the one I present as a final result.
