Experimental Art No 1 . Sunset on planet X-z44 (Plasticine technique)

Art has a thousand ways to express itself, in all of them it is always a great ally of the health of the soul, every day we have in front of us opportunities to make art in many ways, to connect with it, besides letting ourselves be guided by the muses that shape their messages through our hands.

Un saludo lleno de buena vibra para todos, que la magia de los colores guie cada paso que dan por el camino de la vida.

El arte tiene mil formas de expresarse, en todas siempre es un gran aliado de la salud del alma, cada día tenemos frente a nosotros oportunidades para poder hacer arte de muchas formas, conectar con ello, además de dejarnos guiar por las musas que plasman sus mensajes a través de nuestras manos.

This time I bring for you a work that arose in a very special way, in the place where I live there are very beautiful sunsets, so I wanted to evoke some of those that I carry in my memory, but this time I wanted to do it using a different material and it was the plasticine, painting with plasticine sounds strange, but in my case it has worked great.

I had some phosphorescent plasticine and I set out then to capture the landscape that I had in my head using them, the time to make this art was a little more, since the texture of the material requires spreading it on the surface to mix it and achieve the desired colors and textures.

En esta ocasión traigo para ustedes una obra que surgió de una manera muy especial, en el lugar donde vivo se dan unos atardeceres muy hermosos, así que quise evocar alguno de los que llevo en mi memoria, pero esta vez lo quise hacer usando un material diferente y fue la plastilina, pintar con plastilina se escucha extraño, pero en mi caso ha funcionado genial.

Tenía unas plastilinas fosforescentes y me dispuse entonces a plasmar el paisaje que tenia en mi cabeza usándolas, el tiempo para realizar este arte fue un poco más, ya que la textura del material requiere irlo extendiendo sobre la superficie para mezclarlo y lograr los colores y texturas deseadas.

The materials I used were: A vinyl record as a canvas or support, phosphorescent plasticine to "paint", a white color and white glue.

Los materiales que usé fueron: Un disco de vinilo como lienzo o soporte, plastilinas fosforescentes para "pintar" , un color blanco y pega blanca.

The first thing I did was to make a sketch with the white color of what would be the painting, the lines where I would place the pieces of plasticine according to the color to be used.

Lo primero que hice fue hacer un bosquejo con el color blanco de lo que sería el cuadro, las lineas donde colocaría los pedazos de plastilina según el color a usar.

I started with the sun, in the center of the disk, using the circle I already had as a reference, I placed fuchsia, orange and yellow colors and mixed them with my fingers until I gave it the shape of a sun.

Comencé con el sol, al centro del disco, usando como referencia el círculo que ya tenía,coloqué colores fucsia, anaranjado y amarillo y los fui mezclando con mis dedos hasta darle la forma de un sol.

After having the sun ready, I started with the sky and its shades, I used blue, violet and pink clay to simulate the colors that would be reflected in the sky. I also mixed them with a finger, it is a practice that can get tired fingers but in the end it looks great.

Luego de tener el sol listo, comencé con el cielo y sus matices, usé plastilina azul, violeta y rosada para simular los colores que se reflejarían en el cielo. Igualmente los fui mezclando con un dedo, es una practica que puede llegar a cansar los dedos pero al final queda genial.

Then I set out to make what would be the landscape, I wanted to make a pasture with wild flowers, so the first thing I did was to place the green plasticine and give it the texture.

Luego me dispuse a hacer lo que sería el paisaje, quise hacer un pastizal con flores silvestres, así que lo primero fue colocar la plastilina verde y darle la textura.

Once the grass was ready, I placed small balls of orange, pink, yellow and violet colors to make the flowers.

Una vez listo lo que sería el pastizal, coloqué pequeñas bolitas de colores anaranzajdo, rosado, amarillo y violeta y así realizar las flores.

I ended up covering it with a thin layer of white glue, to give it protection and brightness and this is how my experimental painting was, I named it "Sunset on planet X-z44", the live colors look brighter, something that my camera does not capture very well.

Terminé cubriéndo con una fina capa de pega blanca, para darle proteción y brillo y de esta manera quedó mi pintura experimental, le coloqué como nombre "Atardecer en el planeta X-z44", los colores en vivo se ven más brillantes, cosa que no captó muy bien mi cámara.

As always I did a little digital manipulation to my work with the PicArts app and I really liked this digital version.

Making this art with plasticine made me feel very good, and ideas began to emerge in my mind for new experiments with color and other materials.

Realizar este arte con plastilina me hizo sentir muy bien, además empezaron a surgir ideas en mi mente para realizar nuevos experimientos con el color y otros materiales.
