My Actifit Report Card: October 25 2019

The beautiful sunset from tonight's hike behind the Fitbit stats.

Hi everybody!

It’s FRIDAY!! Work was super busy, but that is what makes the day fly by!

Once I got home, I noticed the sunlight illuminating the leaves of my Japanese Maple (the Bloodgood) and had to take a picture of that. I’m not sure the picture does it justice, but it was pretty!

I took a moment to eat a couple of slices of turkey before the hike (I usually don’t eat prior to hiking, but I had no lunch today and was starving), then we set off. Once again, the waning daylight controls how far we get. Going into the forest was not an option as by the time we got to where we enter, it was pretty much pitch dark in there. It was still a good hike as I was able to get my @actifit steps in, so it was good. Tomorrow is forecasted to be stunningly sunny, so it will be the long hike. Who knows, maybe I’ll find some new ‘shrooms to photograph!

On another note, my eyes were good today, which is good as sometimes, that ‘thing’ I have can last several days. It’s like a combination eye strain and seriously dry eyes that feel like you are blinking with zero moisture. Not fun!

It’s gluten free pizza tonight for dinner and then it’s time for Actifit and Steemit. It’s been a good day!

Good job. Awesome that you go hiking after work. I generally have to get a run or walk in before work or just won’t be done.

It's getting harder to do that with the waning daylight. We just pare it down to a minimum on those day, and plan daylight hikes on the days I don't work. By January I'll be counting the minutes we gain each day, lol! Have a wonderful evening!
