My Actifit Report Card: November 6 2019
Hey Everybody!
Work today was super crazy busy! Ironically, the doc wasn’t booked, but boy, I sure was! It’s winding down to the last couple of month’s of the year, and there are two schools of thought where optical is concerned. You will have half of the folks who realize they need to utilize their insurance benefits before the end of the year and want to do so before Thanksgiving so they can concentrate on Thanksgiving and Christmas without having run out of time. Then, there is the other half who won’t give it a thought until the day after Christmas. They will be in a panic as they only have 5 days at that point to get things done. Often times, we are booked out on those days and folks end up missing out or going elsewhere to a doc they are not familiar with. So the point of this is: if you have vision insurance that the benefits have to be used before the end of the year, use it now-don’t wait. Don’t wait until you find yourself on the outside of your doc’s office looking in only to find out you can’t have the appointment you need. Okay, so now, I’ll get off my optical soap box, lol!
Upon arriving home after work, I changed clothes and we headed out to snag Jan and got the the darkness hike. We call carry lanterns or flashlights, so we are well lit. It’s kind of fun to hike in the cool darkness and often makes for lively conversation. I’m sure the rest of our neighbors think we are nuts, but that’s ok. They don’t know what they’re missing!
A little 'shroom poking out from some tree bark. This picture was taken on a recent previous hike. It's hard to take pictures in the dark, lol!
Tomorrow evening is another live tech session with Apple Support for Jan’s phone, so we will see what they found in the file I sent them and what they intend to do to fix her WiFi issues with the phone. I’m hoping we can close the chapter on this tomorrow. I’ll let you know what happens in tomorrow’s post.
This little guy was on our trail a couple of weeks ago on a weekend hike. I kind of dubbed him an albino woolley worm. I have no idea if there is such a thing, let alone even what kind of caterpillar this was, but it works for me.
All in all, it was a good, busy, productive, and jovial day! Hope yours was too.
