Writing good sales copy for your newsletters and your blogs is really important. Helping people succeed and giving information that can help people is a little more challenging. That is what people are looking for though. They are are looking for something that will work and make their life easier. I am learning that this is the best way to do things. Give some value!
People are used to being sold something all of the time already. If you take the time and help them you are more likely to make a sale down the road. This also shows them that you care about their success and are not there just to sell them something.
This is also a way to seem more genuine. I think people can tell when you don't know what you are talking about or do not seem real.
Besides if you help them become successful they will add to your own success. This is a biggy in my book. supporting people and making sure that they are getting what they need will inspire them (Hopefully) to do greater things.
The 75/25 Rule.
If you have been going through the Click Track Profit learning modules hopefully you have come to the modules on Email marketing.
There is a lot of good advice to help you start writing your email series for your autoresponder. This is similar to what I have already talked about in todays post. Pull people in 75% percent of the time and push your products 25% of the time. The idea is to give people something of value so they will like and trust you.
If you are honest about this and really try to help people then you will see your sales go up. Everybody is similar, nobody wants to feel like they are being taken advantage of, or all that someone is interested in is sales. especially if they are on your list.
I think that the most successful people are honest. If they aren't then they are probably not very happy.
Integrity is important , after all you have to live with yourself.

Now days there are billions of people online and from what I understand there are many more joining everyday.
There are more people out there that would be interested in you than you realise. Finding them and getting in front of them with your ideas and products is what is needed. There are many little things involved in Internet marketing. Learning things in the right order is very helpful.

I think this is a very important point especially here on Hive. If you manage to bring value to others, then you will start to see some interaction. People will start to know you and maybe later trust you. I've stopped all selling discourse here on hive because it simply didn't work. I just try to help wherever I can and it's working :-)

Wow Thanks Achim. So are you saying you only share info and never try to sell anything? or just not very often.
Sometimes when I want to sell something I don't try to promote the product I just say that I've put a new product in the shop and would be greatful to get a feed-back :-). When I do that, it happens that I make some sales but when I try to sell something it never works :-)
I think your perspective is probably correct. I might have to rethink how I use Hive a little more.
I love adding value. Like I said in my article its easier to have a sales pitch than to have helpful information. Thanks again
