Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous- Alexander out long-term with foot injury

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Oklahoma City Thunder is set for a long spell out of action has he been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis to his right foot.

Head coach Mark Daigneault made the announcement of the injury and that 22 year old Canadian has been added to the injury report for Wednesday.

According to Daigneault the injury didn't happen on a certain day, it was cumulative and no timeframe could be given for his return.

Due to the injury, Gilgeous-Alexander could not take part in his team home game against Memphis Grizzlies in which they lost 116-107.

Oklahoma City Thunder currently sit 12th in the Western Conference rankings.

So sad he wasn't able to play for his home team. Maybe they could have had a chance to win the match.
