Bitcoin (BTC) barely managed to maintain $8,000 support on Nov. 19 as analysts warn the outlook for markets is increasingly bearish.
Bitcoin sheds 3.7% overnight
Data from Coin360 showed BTC/USD bounce off lows of $8,077 on Tuesday, having spent the time since the weekend eroding previous gains.
On Monday, a sudden dip took the pair below $8,100 for the first time since late October, with price action fluctuating around that level since.
At press time, a slight reversal had taken Bitcoin back to $8,150, with daily losses still at 3.7% and weekly losses totaling almost 7%.
Galaxy Digital is tapping Bakkt and Fidelity Digital Assets to store the bitcoin for its two new funds.
Launched Tuesday, the funds are designed for accredited institutional investors with standard tax documentation and client service support. The Galaxy Bitcoin Fund requires a $25,000 minimum investment with optional quarterly redemptions. The Galaxy Institutional Bitcoin Fund requires higher minimums than $25,000 and allows weekly withdrawals.
Bakkt previously announced it would serve Galaxy Digital as a custodian.
“As institutions and sophisticated investors seek exposure to digital assets through new investment products, they are seeking the highest standards in asset security,” Kelly Loeffler, CEO of Bakkt, said in a press release. “The Bakkt Warehouse was designed to offer institutional-grade custody in safeguarding digital assets and to support the development of the market alongside products like the Galaxy Bitcoin Funds,”
Earlier this month, the Ethereum Foundation team lead Péter Szilágyi confirmed the date of the network’s upcoming upgrade, Istanbul. Ethereum’s eighth hard fork overall and the second one this year was due to take place on Dec. 4, however on Nov. 20, per the official announcement, the date estimate was moved to around Dec. 7.
Istanbul will introduce a number of improvements such as interoperability with Zcash, cheaper zero-knowledge layer two scalability solutions, and adjusted gas price for certain operations, marking another milestone along the road to Ethereum 2.0, a highly anticipated “ultimate” version of the network. How exactly does Istanbul fit into the grand scheme of things?
Forks, releases and phases
No complex open-source system is ever in its final state — software is always in motion, constantly being improved and updated. This is especially true for Ethereum, whose path toward becoming a distributed “world computer” and the platform for decentralized applications has been outlined at its inception as a series of consecutive milestones.
Blockchain protocol provider Bison Trails has secured a $25.5 million Series A funding round led by Blockchain Capital to develop the firm’s infrastructure services.
Coinbase Ventures, ConsenSys, Kleiner Perkins, A Capital, Collaborative Fund and Sound Ventures joined the latest round as new investors, while early backers, including Galaxy Digital and Initialized, made follow-up investments after a $5.25 million seed round in March.
Bison Trails declined to disclose further financial terms of deal.
The Series A round came after the startup was included as one of the 21 founding members for Facebook’s Libra Association in October, boosting its reputation as a global infrastructure service provider, CEO Joe Lallouz said in an interview.
Donnerlab, an online gaming platform that builds lightning games and applications, lets gamers hunt for Bitcoin (BTC) and pick-up “Satoshi cubes.”
Shoot other players and collect satoshis
In a tweet on Nov. 19, Donnerlab announced the launch of its latest project, titled Bitcoin Bounty Hunt, a fully lightning-native multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) game. The Lightning network is a payment protocol that allows for fast, micropayments between two so-called nodes — in this case, gamers.
Donnerlabs was founded by twenty-five-year-old Konstantin Nick after the 2018 Lightning Hackday in Munich, Germany, as a means to introduce the world’s largest cryptocurrency to more people.

Here is the chart of my last analysis :
Here is the current chart :
Today, the last support line at 0.138$ before the low has been broken. So in theory, we will go now test the low around 0.124$. However, it is still possible that we save that line with a bounce but it must happen in the coming hours. If we don't have it quiet soon, it will validate the break of the support line and we should go test the low.
