Set Your Goals ASAP!

avatar

Every time when the end of the month comes, I'm trying to re-cap everything that happened and see where am I. Usually, that means calculating expenses and gains... Sometimes it's not so good feeling to see how it looks, but sometimes it's surprisingly well. :)

After that, the next step is setting the goals for the future... There are two major types of goals that everyone should have: long-term goals and short-term goals.

I don't know about you, but when I was younger, it was somehow easier to set long-term goals... Yes, I was younger, but I wasn't experienced as I am today... But, somehow, I had better self-confidence, or something else? I had a computer store, setting long-term goals was an important thing because I was taking a few times loans from banks for my business.

Somehow, I always accomplished my goals, and usually return the loan before the "expiry date" and I was proud for doing that. Also, the banks were giving me future loans almost without any questions, knowing that I'm a good customer...

Anyways, today I found myself different regarding long-term goals... Maybe I have less self-eSTEEM (or just less STEEM) :) But, I blame my life experience about the financial world of today... And also, I think that I'm more realistic than I was earlier... So, it's very hard for me to set long-term goals...

I rarely make "prediction" of any kind... I know that nobody knows the future price of Bitcoin, or STEEM or CTP... I have HOPES where would I like to see them and how much would I like to have, but that's are not goals... Or maybe those are exactly the goals?

Anyways, I was thinking last few days of my short term goals (for crypto) until the end of the year... And I have put my bar for a few important things for me as a metrics... I have only 2 months left to reach them, but I think it is doable. :)

My goals UNTIL the end of 2019 are:

  • Reaching 150 followers
  • Having 2000 SP on my main account (this one), or 5000SP with my other projects together
  • Get into Top5 of CTP rich list (I don't want to put specific numbers of tokens as I find this much harder to do :) )
  • Start with my aff. journey and get at least 20-30 email subscribers (I have a feeling that this one would be the toughest)

It is very important to set your goals because knowing them you will be more motivated to push forward them, and finally CHECK THEM as ACCOMPLISHED!

What are your goals for the end of this year? Would you like to share with us in the comments?

It's difficult to me to set goals with the fear that I will never accomplish them lol that's why I'm all over the place! But soon I have to learn to manage everything, like a proper momma of all trades :) thanks for sharing!

Then do not put some unreal goals... Set the goals that you can accomplish... Be realistic... You will see that you will get a ton of self-esteem when you do that... And that will skyrocket your confidence and you will move forward easier...

I have put 4 goals, so if I don't accomplish 1, I will still be positive... loool

those are great goals and I think you will beat all of them, as you are rocking it. As for me for the short term end of the year, I have already passed some of them and are working on next years goals. Some I might not quite make by the end of the year but very close. I wanted to have 10,000 ctp by the end of the year and I am at 12,500 and growing already next goal there is 15,000 (was by next summer now is spring) others getting close need 940 more steem power by the end of the year, and another 10,000 sports tokens by years end. Keep on posting Zoltan and I will keep curating your posts and we will both meet our goals.

Yes, that's right! Goals in any business are very important... I would compare them to HOPE in a real-life... You have to have the HOPE in your life because then everything has meaning!

Thanks for your comment!

Making our goals public gives another level to it... It converts into a PROMISE :) And that is a serious thing... :)
