Cats for Fun and Profit?

(Edited)

I have a confession. I have used a cat to increase sales. Yes, some customers have said they chose my fiverr writing gig over others because they liked this cat:

I shamelessly used Blaze as the cover photo for one of my fiverr gigs. In my defense, he was just sitting there with my pile of books. Why should he not make some contribution to the home in which he lived?

You never know just how a connection could be made with any individual customer, so try attracting people who like things you like--such as your cat. Stand out from the crowd. While many just say "Buy this, pretty please" you could be saying (in picture form) "I love my work and my cat. Can we help you?"

Footnote: Blaze has gone to his reward, but I keep him on that gig because he was way cooler than any other cat on the internet.
