what i'm about to present you tonight is not a movie but an anime series , one of the first Manga style ever presented in Greek TV
i have no idea when this series went live in other countries that's why i refer to my country
i was very young when i first watched one of the episodes of KABAMARU IGANO and this savage, soft-hearted ninja got me hooked

there 's no way you haven't seen him on your screens, there's no way you haven't laughed with his lines
there's no way you haven't loved this sweet ninja called kabamaru
as i wrote at the beginning of this post Kabamaru is an anime Manga series which describes the story of a young ninja boy who after the death(or maybe not?) of his Grandfather moves to the city of Tokyo in order to go to school and not stay alone in the woods

Kabamaru ( which means hippos mouth) got his nickname by his tremendous apetite, his real name was kagemaru and he was trained to be a ninja from his first childhood
actually he only got to know ninja life and nothing more
he doesn't have gentle manners, he doesn't know how to treat a girl ,he doesn't know how to pretend!
he knows just to speak the truth all the time and the best part of everything is that he can eat spaghetti 24 hours a day without stopping
the only way you can 'buy' him or take down his temper if he is angry is to offer him a dish of pasta or maybe the whole restaurant

without knowing our poor hero gets himself involved in a 'war' between two competitive schools which leaderships belong to two women ,former friends but now eternal enemies because of their love for the same guy
can you guess who??..... Kabamaru's sensei , Kabamaru's grandfather
so now Kabamaru's grandfather is 'gone' ,the two women are fighting for the young boy who is so much like their beloved Saizo (the grandfather i'm talking about)

i was so excited to watch Kabamaru's adventures back in the 90's and i still enjoy to see those episodes, i have downloaded the whole series( i have no idea how many episodes they are, i think 10 or 12) and i keep them as treasure
funny, dramatic, they teach you how to respect nature, animals, humans, they teach you the meaning of true friendship
it is absolutely one of the best anime series ever
if you have not watched it i do insist to find them online and download them
