Owl Trying To Catch A Squirrel In Our Backyard

Saw this awesome Barred Owl in our backyard yesterday morning. It was early so it was still a little dark but I was able to grab my camera and get a quick video of it. It was sitting on top of a fence just looking around trying to hunt for squirrels. This is the same owl a took some photos of several month ago when it was sitting very high up in a pine tree. I forgot to post those photos but here is a couple of them now.

Last time I saw this owl it was about 200 feet up in a tree so it was hard to get a good picture of it.

Here is the video from yesterday, he swooped down for a squirrel but missed, the squirrel got lucky this time :)

I had to zoom all the way in with the video camera so I was not able to follow him with the camera at that distance, they move too quick. Hopefully I will be able to see him again sometime soon :)
