Day # 4: What Book You've Read Made You Feel Grateful?

my journal and my fave book

I'm a book lover. My books are probably one of my most treasured possessions in life. Even when I'm working on decluttering at this stage in my life, I'm leaving my books for last, as I would want to find a space reserved solely for them.

I thank my mom for my love for books. She was a major influence why I started reading in the first place. I have somehow developed this special relationship with each book that I get to read. One particular book comes to my mind upon seeing today's prompt. It's a book by Sonia Choquette, entitled Your Heart's Desire.

I am grateful for this book because it has helped me through some difficult moments in the past. I'm not going into details anymore as that was a long time ago. Lessons have been learned, and I have moved on to a better place now. I almost went through a depression then. Thankfully this book became my guide into knowing myself more and working towards my heart's desire. I remember making a list back then of what I wanted to achieve. I found that list again quite recently. It made me smile knowing I almost completed the entire list. Of course, I'm still working towards financial independence, but that's a given. Little by little, I know I will get there.

I'm truly thankful.

Books????

Did you mention books?

For me, my gratitude book starts and ends with The Bible.

But for non-religious stuff :)

Winning With People - John C. Maxwell....I believe everything in business starts and ends with relationships and I'm thankful for each of them...That book showed me how to get better at being grateful for my relationships with others.
