How to add your CTPtalk posts to traffic exchanges
I've created a fresh steem account on which I will exclusively post affiliate marketing related content. I realised that it was becoming more an more difficult to write about different topics with one single account. So I created this account and started to stake some CTP tokens.
When you deal in affiliate marketing, it is safe to say that you need tools. You need landing pages, capture pages for your list or even content pages where you can explain stuff more in detail. In this post I would like to show you how you can use content created on CTPtalk and promote it on traffic exchanges or viral mailers.
CTPtalk and steem are a prefect place to put your content
The steem blockchain and the tribes like ctptalk are a perfect place where you can write content, tutorials or build lists with several programs and their referral links. If you don't have your own website, then this can be the next best solution for you.
The problem with promoting ctptalk posts - iframes
Imagine that you have created a nice post and you linked many affiliate programs in it and you would like to promote this page. You go to your favourite traffic exchange and you want to enter your url. Well you will only see a blank window because iframes are not supported. You can test whether your page works in an iframe with this tool. If it doesn't work in this tool, it won't work in a traffic exchange or in a mailer that comes in a frame.
How to put your ctptalk post into an iframe
The solution is quite simple. All the data that you publish on ctptalk or steem is saved on the steem blockchain which is a huge database. The good thing is that this database is accessible through many different websites, called condensers. There is one condenser that shows your posts in iframes and it is busy.org.
How to transform your url to make it iframe compatible
Let's take my latest post from my main account. The url is the following:
https://ctptalk.com/hive-175254/@achim03/steem-is-back-on-track
Now we have just to change the following parts:
https://ctptalk.com/hive-175254/@achim03/steem-is-back-on-track
to
https://busy.org/hive-175254/@achim03/steem-is-back-on-track
Just the bold part of the url has to be changed. The rest stays exactly the same. Test your url by pasting it into your browser and your article should show on busy.org.
Using this url from busy.org, your article can now be shown in an iframe !

As you can see above my article shows in the frame and is accepted by the traffic exchange.
This is a very simple way to transform every one of your posts into a page that can be promoted in traffic exchanges or mailers.

Nice tip for promoting your posts in Traffic Exchanges, though I would much rather make a splash page for that pusrpose, takes 5 to 10 minutes using Canva and the CTP LCP builder, stay awesome.

Just kinda curious about results the posts will receive from traffic exchages other than just views. Hope you have tracking for clicks & such. Would like to hear more after some exposure.
Thanks a lot for your comment. I believe that what @flaxz wrote in his comment is quite true. Landingpages certainly give better results in traffic exchanges. I have used this trick with viral mailers that also come in iframes quite often. My results were not stunning but ok.
