Fractionally yours...

I found out today, there is something called fractional investing.
Maybe I already knew it and forgot? That happens after a certain age.
As the name suggests, you buy fractions or pieces of a whole stock, or in the case of Hive, a coin or token. This will not pad that retirement nest egg super fast. I've been doing this for awhile. Especially when I don't have a lot of dirty fiat to turn into crypto.
I am seeing many new communities pop up as well as a lot of new coins on Hive_engine.
One I'm really excited about is Hive Index you can read what it's all about here. According to the website, it is 100% backed by whatever coin is tied to it at the time. They represent about 13 at present. DEC LEO BLURT and more you've most likely heard of. Roughly 80% of the rewards are paid out to coin holders. If you stake it, you get rewarded for it.
$utopis is one I stumbled across out in the wilds while curating. See why you should curate everyday? I find so many cool projects this way. Usually more than I will ever have the amount of time I need to really dive into them. utopis
Dhedge or Disco Hedge is one that pays out daily drips. dhedge.

Daily, no action required from me, drips are pretty sweet. Like Ron Popeil used to say "set it and forget it". I don't suggest that you handle all hive stakes that way. Some will need a little more nurturing than others. Nor is there one right way to do this. You do you and what works best for your needs. This is definitely in no way investment advice. Have you seen my portfolio? :shudders:
My approach is: find great coins that other people are excited about, do my research. If I like what it's about, I buy what I can afford. Often times, it may be this:

As I can I will buy and stake more of the fractional ones. That is if I feel there is a value to it. Over the years, and I'm sure it's happened to you, some weird amount like 0.0000012 will show up in your hive-engine portfolio, of some coin you'd never heard of. We used to compare notes on which ones we got. Sometimes, it felt like a Charlie Brown scene. "I got sports" "I got neoxian"
"I got a rock". I'm sure you get the point. Until circumstances out in the real world change, and maybe even if they do,

I'll be doing the fractional thing for the time being. It's working so far.
Hope some of this helps you.
Just my .02¢ worth. YMMV Keep stacking ⚡
