I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel here.
I responded with "It's gotta be every damn day. No half-assing this. People will notice if you're really in or not." There really isn't much to add to either of these, except this. In addition to showing up every day, you have to be authentic. Maybe you'll fool people for a little while but eventually, they will detect bullshit. Be you and not some slick "guru" type. The other thing and, this is a biggie, help people. See someone struggling, help them out. What does it really cost you but a little bit of your time? When you do help people, do it freely and happily and with no expectations od anything in return. To me, that's the very best way to get through life.
To sum up: Show up, put in the work and everyone will be better off.
