Giving a gift can be done in a number of ways delivery through email or messenger, through a landing or capture page and also through a link via google docs or a dropbox to give a few examples.

FAVOR (ask for a)
Once you have given a gift this makes asking for a favor much more likely to be successful because the person has been warmed up to you the chances are you have already had a chat, now you have given them a gift so why would someone not want to do you a favor. Obviously some people will still say no but that's OK they probably just need to get to know you a little better first.
Your favor you ask is totally up to you it could be you present them with your capture or landing page to your list, an opportunity or service like a free tour or trial or it could be a group you run.

ACTIVATE
This is simply getting someone to take an action you need them too or it could be how they set up a business opportunity or affiliate account or anything else depending on your business or service.

This is when you show someone how to show others how to do what you just did, it could also be you helping them get their first sale or referral duplication is simply where the magic happens. Great post Ben, these are some good steps to get people to take some action and maybe join your business, while at the same time showing them how it is all done. Such a simple process but everyone seems to over complicate it.
Thank you Mike, your right bro people over complicate what is really a simple process by adding steps or even leaving steps out to go for the hard sell this will never really work long term. It is better to have a successful formula and stick to it with the understanding that some people need more time and more attention. While understanding some are just simply not ready.
