Are you reaching for the stars?

Morning my fellow CTP Talkers and Steemians,

Looking for inspiration to write a blog post! When you wake up at 6AM on a Saturday, and it has been snowing all night long and you think of the job of shovelling you have ahead of you. Still snowing. What a fun day it will be. Just a little sarcasm there. So I grab a coffee and open my laptop and wonder what to write. What is going on in life, online, etc.

It is Day eight for my Red Fish Rally 500, I remember in December when I did the RR100, and how I pumped out a lot of posts and graphics all about RR. I have not done much of that this time, just tags, as all you need to do to be part of the RR is do your normal writing of your daily blog. So that is what I have been doing. But a week in I thought I would mention the rally. I wonder if they are going to give a weekly update on standings?

I do feel like I am reaching for the stars, and I hope you are also. Everyday now that i sit down and write a post, do a vblog, comment, upvote and resteem I feel like I am reaching for the stars. I look back at where I was six months ago when I first joined steem. The struggle to learn the system. Well it was not hard to learn how to write something and hit post but it was hard to learn about Steem, Steem Power and SBD (getting my first the last couple days). Being rewarded feels so good. It is almost like reaching for those stars, that I am getting showered with or able to pinch little bits of star dust and that star dust are my rewards everyday.

Curation on Steem is starting to feel like a stars warmth on my face. As I grow my SP and I am able to give better value in upvotes to others the reward comes right back to me. It is like the circle of life but with Steem. lol

And I cannot forget to mention CTP Talk in all of this. Everything I have said above about Steem also applies to CTP Talk. It is like I am in a binary star system, with the two stars circling each other and shinning down their favours on me.

To bad I could not use this power to melt my snow today! lol

I am at a place in my journey here that I never even imagined I would get, with the positive feed back and comments from others I seem to be impacting people. That was never a thought and never a goal but let me tell you it does feel good. I am not going to keep trying to do that, as I never tried to do it in the first place but if it continues to happen that is fantastic. I made a comment to someone yesterday that all my posts are personal. But if you are taking anything away from them that can help you in your journey, that is great and I am happy.

As I continue to reach for the stars and my path on CTP Talk and Steem gets brighter I hope I can help spread some of warmth and light of the stars I am reaching for with others.

On a finishing note, for those people who are struggling to write blog posts let me give you a little hint. Thirty seconds before I sat down and opened my laptop to write, I had no idea what this post was going to be about. So if you are like me and you are bad at writing notes when great ideas pop into your head, what I do is use a trigger. I stare at a blank canvas for my graphic, search for backgrounds and items to add, looking for inspiration on a subject to write. And this type of blog post is usually the result. My first thought this morning was "I pumped out some deep post this week, I got nothing left to write about". But here you go! Another one.

Don't give up on yourself. Reach for the stars.
